MISTAKE #2 I know that users can create tickets on Eventbrite, but since I didn't have to pay upfront, I decided to take a chance. Sure enough, the"tickets" were delivered. The tickets looked EXACTLY like real tickets, complete with description, tour info, and even fake vendor info. The seller then instructed to send about $90 to a venmo account. I looked into the venmo, and it was newly created, with no activity, followers, transactions; the kind of things you expect to see from an active user. So with my limited photoshop skills, I create a fake venmo reciept (sometimes you gotta scam the scammers) and sent it off. As I expected, no less than a minuted after I "confirmed" payment the tickets were suddenly refunded, and to make things even more suspicious, the vendor email listed was a random temporary email address. At this point I knew I did the right thing by not sending any money. I hope this can prevent someone else from falling for this rather believable and malicious scam. DO NOT, I BEG OF YOU, BUY OFF THIRD PARTY SELLERS. **NOTE** Similar fake tickets are being sold on 3rd party vendors such like Vividseats, SeatGeek, Stubhub. I hate my brother; I hate him so much. He is autistic, between level 2 and level 3 but closer to level 2. It feels like the whole family revolves around him. First thing is he is loud. My room is downstairs, and I'll just be trying to relax when I have to hear him yelling and screaming because my parents are playing with him. What makes this worse is I have adhd and I'm sensitive to loud noises. I have some slight anger issues, but they aren't usually that bad, but when I hear loud noises, I'm instantly angry. Worst part is that when I try to focus on something else, my mind still ends up focusing on the loud noises. This doesn't just happen sometimes though; it happens every single day.
Another thing is that he gets all the attention. I understand that autistic kids might need some extra help, but my parents bring food for him, drinks, toys, etc., when he can easily get it himself. He can walk, he can talk, he can get stuff himself, he's done it before, but he still gets treated like a baby. They also play with him, when I'm lucky if I get to talk to talk to my mom for more than 5 minutes without either my brother getting her to get him food or her starting to sound and act tired or annoyed with me. By the time my parents are done taking care of them, I have to try and talk to them another time because of them being tired or wanting a break from kids.
I can't even have any time to watch tv alone with my mom without him trying to join and interrupting for dumb reasons. I'm not even joking, today I tried to watch tv with her and he came out to tell her he was full and what to do. He doesn't do this stuff usually, but he wanted attention, as if he didn't get enough.
The thing that makes this worse though, is that I'm not just competing for attention with one kid. I also have a sister. She isn't annoying though; I don't have any problems with her.
My parents repeatedly baby him. If I want him to be quieter the only response, I ever get is just being told to ignore it, even though they know I have issues with noise. I want to have alone time with either of them and he walks in and wants to join, they get annoyed with me if I ask if he could not join. I just want to do something with my parents without needing to deal with him. They rarely punish him either. The most he's ever gotten was a day or 2 without his computer. He didn't even get any punishment at all even after getting suspended for a week from hitting a kid. They excused it because he got upset from the kid being loud, but if I get upset from him being loud, they treat me like I'm being unreasonable. They know I have sensory issues with loud noises, but when I have it, it doesn't matter, but when my brother has it, they excuse him hitting a kid.

My mom acts as if I'm an adult when I'm not. I don't want to reveal my age, but for context to how young I am, I'm not even allowed to learn how to drive. My mom still acts like I'm and adult though. I'm the person that my mom vents to about family issue, even though she barely spends time with me doing anything else. It's as if I'm her therapist or something. The few times she talks to me for a long time, it's her talking about family issues. Shes even told me my brother will never get a job, and he's going to live with them or with a caretaker for the rest of his life, and he won't ever get a job. Basically, she said he was useless. If I ever said anything like that about him, she would get upset, but then she tells me that and tells me about other family issues she would never talk to my siblings about and expects me to be completely fine and not notice her treatment of my siblings being completely different.
My mom treats me like a therapist or advisor but when it comes to quality time suddenly, she's too busy taking care of my brother, or too tired. She plays with my brother every day but doesn't have enough free time to even watch tv with me. Shes a stay-at-home mom too, she doesn't have a job to worry about, she has all day to try and spend time with me, but she doesn't.

I'm getting tired of my brother getting all the attention. I'm tired of being treated like a therapist by my own mom. I'm tired of this family.

I've (44 F) suffered from depression and anxiety pretty much my whole life, and for the last 5 years I would consider myself a heavy smoker. I would smoke 1g-1.5g a day, and 3 weeks ago I tried for probably what is the 15th time to quit. I've been successful so far but the depression is just awful. I haven't felt this depressed in years. I spent the entire holiday weekend in bed.
I'm trying to tell myself it's just the withdrawal but there's that anxious part of me that is convinced without weed this is just how I will feel, all the time. That terrifies me. I'm not in danger of relapsing, at least not today, but my god this is awful. I have a psychiatric appt on Thursday to make sure my meds are all good.
Just needed to put this out there to get it off my chest.
