I guess I’ll preface this with, we both watch porn on our own and not together if we’re in the mood to do so.
I was home from work, and felt the need so I was searching through some videos on the phone, I found one I thought I might like that was VR so I grabbed my headset and watched it.
Girlfriend comes home, and I had left the VR headset controller on the bed, and she asked what I was doing, and I told her.
She got upset, told me she didn’t want to speak to me at that instance.

As I was going through security clearance between 7:10 and 7:30 p.m., someone stole my Acer Nitro 5 laptop from a tray. I put my laptop into a separate tray, and when it was pushed through to the X-ray, I realized that someone had stolen it.
I immediately bolted off to inform the staff about this incident, and after a brief search of my luggage, they conducted a search. That didn’t get them anywhere, so they said they’d check CCTV. They left, and I didn’t hear back from them after that. 30 minutes later, they came back and said they were able to identify the person who stole my laptop and are trying to establish his whereabouts. I was asked to wait until further notice.
I waited impatiently until around 10 p.m. But since my flight was scheduled for 10.30 p.m. I was informed that I should proceed to the flight gate. The airport employees told me that if they happen to find the thief and retrieve my laptop, someone from the staff would deliver it to my flight gate. Unfortunately, even though I was the last person to board the plane, the laptop had not been recovered by then.
I was fuming by that point, so I informed the Delta Airlines crew member at the gate about this whole mess. She advised writing to Delta about this matter. I sent reports to both DCA and Delta via email, as well as filled out an online police report form. The scumbag obviously knew his stuff since Nitro’s a very expensive model + I had it in a City Leather Laptop Bag, full-grain leather and all.
In this situation, who would you advise contacting in order to receive further assistance? And who exactly is responsible for my luggage while I go through security and am forced to leave my belongings unattended, albeit for a small period of time? I still can’t quite figure out how they could pinpoint the guy on camera and not find him on the premises. I know DCA is big, but come on.

Grabbing the closest thing he could find, a rolling pin, the baker readied himself. The man's tone sounded like he had intent for violence, and the baker steeled himself. He would defend the woman, he could see the blonde woman was pregnant, he wouldn't let any harm come to her. Such was his code. Soon he shouted back.
"Leave this place, there's nothing for you!"
A crash sounded as the window broke and the voice snarled. "I know she's in here! Where is she!" The thug had a crazed look on his face and was holding a knife.
"Get out of my shop!" The baker yelled at him.
The thug lunged at him and the baker used the rolling pin to hit the side of the thugs head. It made the thug stumble, but not enough as the knife still plunged into the baker's chest. The thug stumbled back, but the baker fell to his knees. "Tell me where she is or both of you die!"
"I will not!" The baker tried to lunge with a second wind but the thug beat him to it and stabbed him in the arm. As he cried out in pain the thug stomped on his bleeding arm. "I said. WHERE IS SHE!" The baker then heard a quiet yelp. The thug seemed to hear it too.
But the baker couldn't allow the man to keep going so he grabbed the ankle of the thug trying to trip him up. But something else happened. He felt himself slipping away, but he saw some substance begin to spread on the thug's leg. Was that... bread? Even though his hand fell in weakness his grip remained strong and the thug came crashing to the ground. The baker grabbed the thug's shoulder with his other hand, even though it stayed on the ground, the same thing occurred. The bread began to spread faster across the dazed thug, and by the time he finally noticed it, he was almost covered. He could only let out a few moments of a scream before silence.
When the sounds of a scuffle ended in a loud series of thumps, the woman waited a few minutes, before she began to hear weak wheezing. She threw caution to the wind, and ran to try and help, but the baker was lying in a pool of his own blood. He was surrounded with chocolate-chip muffins and a severed hand, the only sign of the thug. She tried to help, but it was too late. She asked the man if there was anything she could do to repay him or his family, but the baker answered he had none. But she resolved to get his name, and gift it to her child. He kindly obliged and shared his name.

IE. knife can either become Chocolate chip muffin or knife muffin. While most people never knew for sure what transpired in the bakery that night, time marched on. People eventually forgot about the kindly old baker. All except one. I've been married to my Q for two years, together for three. Same story as most - met him and didn't know he was an alcoholic. But he has gotten better over time, has committed (and failed miserably many times) with recovery with group meetings throughout the week. He has a counselor that helps him keep on track and keeps him accountable.
His brother, on the other hand, has been a raging alcoholic ever since he broke up from his super abusive and toxic (and alcoholic) ex-girlfriend. They were like a Syd and Nancy. Co-dependent, and equally destructive. He had been hospitalized before for his alcoholism before he met her. He somewhat fixed it with her, but they were nothing but party and destruction.
Fast forward he is out of that relationship and is on one colossal bender. Two weeks ago my Q and I witnessed him almost die in a car accident and it was traumatizing to say the least. We found him passed out drunk in his car at the park. When we told him we'll drive him back to his parent's house, he took off, drove off the highway, hit an embankment (almost ran into a ditch) and ultimately hit a bridge, which the car nearly fell into, if not for the barrier. Thank god he had his seatbelt on, otherwise he would have literally died in front of our eyes. We called 911 and they took him to the hospital with just minor bruises and scrapes. Car was completely totaled. When we visited him at the hospital that same day, his BAC was 0.46. Which means he was at around 0.5 at the time of the accident. Insanity.
Naturally, this has put a huge mental toll on my Q, my husband, who has been really trying to hold it together for us. I'm really proud of how much he's been trying. But he's been slipping every week this past month.
Would he benefit from going to Al-Anon? I have yet to go to a meeting, should I invite him to a meeting? Or would AA and his group therapy suffice for what he's been going through with his own brother? He has officially set a boundary to never buy him alcohol or even hang out with his brother when he is drinking, which is a good start. Anyone else's Q also have a Q in their life? How do they handle it? Seems like a double whammy.

I’m a Christian and I don’t think the following verses are contradictions but I do have some questions.
Romans 14:5 “One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.” ‭‭ However Galatians 4:10 “You are observing special days and months and seasons and years!”
So how come in Galatians Paul is upset over their observation however in Romans 14:5 he seems to indicate that behavior is acceptable. Christian’s need to celebrate days, I.e seventh-day or first-day sabbath (Something I’ve been contemplating recently)
And, 1 Corinthians 16:2 states “On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.” ‭‭ combined with Revelation 1:10 (John saying he was in the spirit in the Lord’s day)to me don’t make too much sense if it is not necessary to observe days and some people can rsteeem all days alike, then why is there a Lord’s day, and why would Paul command people to put money aside on a particular day of a week instead of just one time a week. Overall my question would be if observing the Lords day would be required of New Testament Christians. (Very similar to the questions above)

💡 💡 So it goes like this, I had this idea that will basically fix the vehicles until they can be dialed in fully for real for real. So basically, The issue isn't necessarily the lagging. If you play Dayz, you have come to terms with suprise lag. It's that horrible death screen that comes after such said "lag" that crushes the soul. Am I right tho? So what if! (Drum roll🥁) The Devs added seatbelts??? Was thinking maybe make it inconvenient for players to use by having to press and hold like 5 buttons at once to wear one, and of course, doing so saves you from dieing in an accident most likely caused by the Drivers Frozen screen. Maybe would just take damage to your health if not buckled up. Would make things much more uncomfortable, especially for the actual driver, having to hold seatbelt on and drive and navigate.....but isn't that how seatbelts are irl??
And just like that ladies and gentlemen in the audience, vehicles are no longer a guaranteed death sentence when above 2nd gear or going off road. Lol. I dunno, what do yall think?🤔 Does it even sound realistic?

Hi there,
To the higher elo players who play in lower elos (low-high silver), how do you win? I'm plat 2 on my main playing in around mid-silver, and every game follows the same "blueprint". I smash my opposing laner and generally amass a 3-3.5k gold lead. but I can never close out a game. During mid-gamee we can never seem to get major objs that could close the game, we always seem to have someone picked on a key objective timer. This lead to enemey team taking baron/soul and closingthe game themselvess. However, I should be able to close out the game and definitely shouldn't be blaming my team here. What should I be doing to translate my lane win to actually winning my games? When I play vs a real smurf they seem to just completely take over the game and make it impossible to even play, which is clearly an area i'm lacking in as im losing games lol. And for some context, by smashing lane I mean I have usually a couple of solo kills, a decent CS lead, and some tower plates. Any advice would be appreciated as I'm sure I could apply this to games on my main as its clear that my macro may be severely underdeveloped.

Just some background details to explain the questions. Skip ahead if you want: SO diagnosed with Bipolar 1 in 2011 at age 21. Proceeded to have 3 manic episodes requiring hospitalization from 2011-2013. Following the 3rd hospitalization, she was placed on daily lamotrigine, Latuda, wellbutrin, PRN Xanax, and after like 6 months of euthymia, she was prescribed 40 mg adderal XR for ADHD. After about 2 years, she developed a daily drinking habit. Fast forward to 2023, she stopped drinking cold turkey in March (was never severe enough to cause withdraw) and started taking CBD supplements to help her sleep (she was used to just falling asleep after drinking). Due to the adderal shortage, she was prescribed Vyvanse at the end of March. She was experiencing work stress and heard her abusive, controlling high school boyfriend had died of an OD back in October 2022. For reasons i can't comprehend, she struggled with his death (he is the reason she also had PTSD.)
Weirdly, the alcohol cessation corresponded with the work stress. And while I was concerned about the work stress, she had dealt with similar issues in past (bad managers) and got by fine. What concerned me the most at the time was the damn Vyvanse. Even though she thought it made her more productive, she also kind of became an irritable asshole. 1 week later, she was hospitalized.
Anyway, on to my questions:

1. Could the change from Adderal XR to Vyvanse been a factor in the irritability and mania development or just a coincidence? I know mania doesn't occur at the flip of a switch, but the personality change with the Vyvanse was significant.
   
2. Is there any reason to believe that her quitting drinking could have contributed to her mania development? At the very least it would have affected how her body processes her medications, right?
   
3. Previously, she had been trialed on Lithum, Geodon, and seroquel, which either didn't work or had bad side effects. Is there like a algorithm that helps you decide which meds to try next, or is it more patient specific?
   
4. On the topic of meds, I'm reading that Latuda and Lamictal are prescribed primarily for Bipolar Depression. I don't think I've ever seen her experience the depressive side so I guess the meds are working for that, but why wouldn't she have been on something to prevent mania too?
   
5. When someone is admitted inpatient for BPD mania or depression, do you keep them on what they were on or start fresh with the assumption that the current medications or dosing aren't working?
   
6. Update: The social worker called will I was typing this. Previously, she was prescribed 80mg Latuda and 200mg Lamictal(I think). Now she's off Latuda, on 50 mg Lamictal, and 2mg risperidone. Can you give me an educated guess as to why they made these med changes? The social worker wasnt sure.( I see risperidone is for mania so that makes sense)
