Nearest autozone
Error Code P0456
2023.05.27 23:06 VividCycle8764 Error Code P0456
I drive a 2014 bmw 328xi. Today morning I saw the check engine light on my dashboard and took it to the nearest autozone to do a diagnostic test. Turns out it’s a Evap system leak (Very small). Got a new gas cap and the associate told me to drive around for some time to get rid of the check engine sign. Still the sign is bugging me. Is this a big deal and should I get it checked by a professional immediaty or can I just ignore it and see what happens? And how can I get rid of the check engine sign by myself if it is nothing major?

2023.05.05 04:44 devniyesuy 2014 Chevy Cruze - AC Off Due to High Engine Temp - temperature needle not moving but loud fan
| Hello all, Last week my Chevy Cruze went into red while I was driving so I refilled the coolant and that seemed to placate the issue. I’m a college student who plans on going home for summer break on Saturday so today I was out and about today running errands. When I returning to campus, all of a sudden the High Engine Temp signal came on but the needle wouldn’t move from cold. I could hear the fan whirling fast. I was close to campus so I made it back and let it cool off for a couple hours. I just now came back to turn it on and it immediately gives the engine heat so no AC signal and the fan blows loud. I don’t have a diagnostic tool and the coolant level is fine. The nearest Autozone is 10 miles away where I could get a free diagnostic, and I don’t wanna unnecessarily harm the engine. Does anybody have any ideas as to what could be wrong? The thing that sucks is I don’t know any mechanics around here and I also have no money lol. submitted by devniyesuy to cruze [link] [comments] |
2023.04.08 01:27 iiuwuujssjduxoosiwju Car go big boom
Hi, I just bought a lexus is350 f sport and took it to get an oil change at Take5 because the only Lexus dealer near me said they couldn’t do it for a week or two. A week after the oil change my car throws up all sorts of codes, ranging from malfunctioning headlights to my oil pressure being low. The var completely shut down, so I pulled it over and check the oil. It was completely bone dry. I don’t see any signs of leaking, and my motors not smoking. The car didn’t make any noises when occured, nor did it make any smells. My car didn’t warn me about anything prior to this, not even the oil pressure being low. I went to the nearest Autozone and bought the correct oil and amount, filled it up, and it won’t start still. It does crank, however, and the battery works perfectly. Any ideas?

2023.03.17 19:36 jathre- What might I need to fix after driving through a flood?
My small town had a pretty gnarly flood. I had to drive through to pick up some meds and supplies for my neighbors, and I drove through a deceptively deep spot of water. Nearly knee deep, the car's engine quit on me. I pushed it forward until the tailpipe could breathe again, and the car reluctantly started up after a few attempts. The exhaust was billowing enormous clouds of white smoke from the exhaust for the next several miles. Eventually, it cleared up, but my check engine light is still on, and the car sounds a little nasty on startup. It still runs and everything, just not quite as smoothly.
The nearest town is a 45 minute drive, and I don't want to force it all the way back there just to check AutoZone's OBD reader, so I was hoping to get some maintenance direction from you all here. Thanks for any help you can offer.

2023.02.24 23:52 planetaryfairy69 The defblue systems are from hell…
Just wanted to share my experience with my defblue system I just recently had in hopes of helping others. I was on the way to a 4 hour trip when halfway there I got a message on my tdi “Error: Adblue. No engine start possible in 500 miles.” I called the nearest dealership, I got some more “adblue” from autozone (the tank was full), and headed to the dealership. They said head back to your home dealer or be stuck here for awhile ,”do not shut your car off for any reason” so I went back. I had to fill my tdi up with the engine on. They took my car in as soon as I got there. I’ve had an engine light to replace the adblue heater but that was done a few months ago, it just kept coming back. Once I went to get my car back the next day they said they replaced the heater again and fixed the sensors. Moral of the story, I would delete the whole system if it wasn’t for the warranty covering it.

2023.02.19 19:48 liberlibre Alternator dying. Can I keep it cozy for a few days?
I work at a school in rural America. Yesterday evening I went into do some work. When I left to go home (many hours later), my car wouldn't start. I slept there on a couch, woke up this morning, waited for the temp to go up (had been in low 20s, now in 40s) and my car started. It's started fine since then.
Went to AutoZone and had it tested: came back with a bad alternator. Battery is still good. It's three days to get the part, nearest dealer is over an hour away, and I am out of personal time off-- BUT we are off school next week if I can make it that long. The weather is going to be above freezing most of the time. Problem is, my job isn't the kind you can just miss, especially these days. Asking some one to pick me up is doable, but a pain for just about anyone. So, I got to thinking: is there some way I can raise the temperature in the engine compartment enough to get the car started in the morning-- maybe with hand warmers or something? I could buy a bunch and test the theory before bed tonight.
But I thought I'd ask the experts: is this likely to work? Even if it might, is it still a stupid idea?

2023.02.15 06:24 autozoneuae43 Boat Ambulance
When we speak about emergency and healthcare transport everybody speaks about patient transport and rescue on land area especially on roads.
Ambulances and rescue vehicles doing that job with advanced equipment and accessories with the help of paramedics, fire and rescue fighters. Water land is also a same space where there are thousands of people travelling and doing their job in daily life. When it comes to their safety and health care, we have to see the possibilities of water or
marine Ambulances and marine rescue units.
Autozone Marine solution was established to cover that space where not many of the developers are active and with our vast experienced technicians we developed our marine solution based on different categories of ambulance boats. As one of the largest ambulance boat builders in the region we strictly follow all the marine regulation and safety practices when we build a boat with high quality fibre glass and aluminium. We successfully delivered many units of
Ambulance boats to different countries in which each boat carried many patients with critical care and patient transfer. Marine Ambulances are equipped with advanced emergency and life saving equipment on board to save the life before a patient reaches the nearest hospital.
Ambulance boats are very useful in water accidents which occur in public water transport lakes, some areas where mining and oil operations occur in seashore areas, Tourist islands where there is no access to clinics or hospitals. Boat or water ambulances act as an emergency first aid providing facility with life saving equipment and make sure the patient can be transferred to the nearest hospital. During this travel advanced life support boat ambulances can give breathing assistance, shock in case of cardiac arrest and minor surgeries in case required.
All governments nowadays realise the importance of
water ambulances and provide to their fleet many water ambulances, Floods like natural calamities also a place where such ambulances can effectively be used.

2023.02.10 18:40 InterestingFruit106 sold me a car, lost my paperwork
almost 2 years ago i bought a car with carmax. the day after i drove it off the lot i went on a 10 hour roadtrip and the check engine light came on and autozone said it was the turbo. called carmax and they said bring it to the nearest carmax and they would give me a loaner and fix that one for free since it was their fault. i ended up not wanting the broken car and went back a week later originally to pick up the broken one but ended up signing the papers for the loaner and paying for that one instead. they never took the dealer plate off and gave me the temporary registration. i went to get my car registered at city hall and brought the entire folder of paperwork with me but they said they didn’t have everything they needed. i called the bank im financing with and they didn’t have it either because carmax never gave it to them. i’ve been calling the carmax location and customer service and nothing. after a year the dealership FINALLY answered and got back to me and sent me paperwork to sign that i signed and sent back and then they ghosted me all over again. customer service hasnt even been able to get in contact with them. the location said they LOST the paperwork. i got pulled over and had to go to court because of the dealer plate and it not being registered or inspected but got off with a warning because it’s not my fault. it’s going on 2 years of having this vehicle and i am unable to go into the location as it’s 15 hours away from me now. legal advice? can i even do anything legally? what do i do.

2023.02.04 22:39 Brewer2019711 DSG fluid dilema - Need advice
2014 Jetta Tdi
I was doing my DSG service myself today. Drained it, then realized I ordered the wrong fluid. I got Valvoline type F ATF fluid instead of DCT fluid. Nowhere in town has any of the approved kinds in stock. I have to be able to drive it back to work monday morning. So as I see it I have 4 options:
Drive to my nearest large city (an hour away) and pay $33 a liter for the correct Pentosin DSG fluid
Put the old fluid back in and drive it to work for a few days while I’m waiting on the correct fluid to come in the mail. Con about this is my used fluid is in the same container I drain my engine oil into, so there would be a little engine oil residue in the old fluid.
Use the type F fluid I accidentally ordered for a few days until the right stuff comes in the mail.
Use the Castrol Transmax Multivehicle that Autozone told mw to use because it says “works with all Volkswagen 6 speed automatics”
What would you guys do? Am I missing any other angles to this? Thanks

2023.01.30 00:34 Undercoverspinmop Glow Relay Short Circut?
On a road trip 5 hours from home yesterday our 2018 Santa Fe Sport AWD started sputtering as soon as my husband put it in cruise control on the interstate. He shut off the control and it lost a lot of power, and we got off the nearest exit. The check engine light began flashing, so we got it towed to a dealership. The car ran okay, so we took it to an Autozone that shared a parking lot of the dealership for them to run a diagnostic. It came back with the code, P1326 the Glow Relay Short Circut. Anyone know what this means, or what it could possibly be? Hopefully a simple fix since we had to leave our car far away from home and we can just come back to get it this week. We’ve never had any issues with our car, it’s been great to us. We made the 5 hour trip to our destination the day before with 0 issues and drove yesterday morning for almost an hour with no issues. It was very unexpected!!

2022.12.29 00:07 snappy845 EVoffer frunk fail to close
| Anyone come across a failed closure of the frunk with the EVOffer kit? Worked flawlessly since I installed the kit upon taking delivery end of July 2022 up until yesterday when the car alerted me that the frunk was not closed properly. Weird. I go outside to check and sure enough I had to manually close it. Got on a chat through telegram with a rep and they said it may be caused by a snapped cable. Didn’t offer anything further than that and stopped communicating. since i’m out of town I head over to my nearest Autozone to pick up a socket wrench and get to work. Took out the tub and inspected the latch mechanism and noticed the cable hooked onto the OEM latch was loose (see pic). I recall the metal cable in the was taut when I installed it less than 6mo ago. Didn’t know if there’s a way to retract the cable back into the motor. prob not? still haven’t heard back from EVOffer via telegram. Put everything back to the way it was and just waiting now. Will update here. submitted by snappy845 to TeslaModelY [link] [comments] |

2008 Prius, 187000 mi, deep south USA
I was sitting in my Prius today, On and parked, eating lunch. All of a sudden, the radio shut off. I scanned around and saw everything was off. Thinking I may have shut it off and spaced out, I went foot to brake and hit the Power button.
Nothing.
I metered 12.4v on the battery, which was new 4 months ago. Took an uber to the nearest Autozone, grabbed another battery anyway and when I tossed it in still nothing.
Lights work. Key fob locks and unlocks. Otherwise 100% dead.
Any ideas while I wait on a tow?

2022.11.18 18:37 Street_Plantain_4796 Dex 3 alternative? What do you guys use in your aw4?
2022.11.08 03:31 Prophes0r [DDG web site] Search results started going downhill rapidly starting sometime in September-October 2022.
UPDATE
And it keeps getting worse? Recently, DDG has started having search behavior much more like Google.
Which is a problem...
I moved away from Google search in 2021 for 2 major reasons.
Useless search results
Google searches seem to find results to whatever popular question it thinks is closes to what you actually asked for. And Google will happily ignore your search operators while doing so.
Google will also gleefully give you results exclusively based on synonyms. A search with 5 terms can get you results which ONLY contain synonyms for two of those terms. And since Google will ignore operators when it feels like it, adding "quotes" doesn't help.
DDG's syntax is FAR more limited. Especially the OR Operator. This becomes especially important when you need to tweak search terms to get different results, or to negate terms.
Something as simple as...
B & (C D) & (E F) & -A -site:xyz.com
Becomes impossibly long...
(B & C & E & -A -site:xyz.com) (B & C & F & -A -site:xyz.com) (B & D & E & -A -site:xyz.com) (B & D & F & -A -site:xyz.com)
This has always been a problem.
But recently, DDG has started ignoring operators. It also seems to have started trying to "figure out" questions, instead of giving me results for the specific search terms I put in.
Here are some ACTUAL examples of the nonsense I have been getting.
- "dog clutch" "clearance" specification recommendation material torque
- Gave me results including...
- Multiple results for recommended local veterinary hospitals
- A company with a credit card intended to be used to finance medical bills for pets
- "Optane" "Drive" "Datasheet"
- Gave me a results including...
- The linkdin page for a person named [REDACTED] Prives
- An Autozone listing for Octane Booster
- A result for a nearby Bed Bath & Beyond that included the term Bedsheet
- "quantum dot" solar photovoltaic "bandgap" material element comparison research 2022
- Gave me a results including...
- Multiple Quantum Dot Tvs
- The Bandcamp page for the artist "Solarfields"
- Multiple local results for solar panel installation.
Why?
These results are SO far off I thought there was some DNS/Browser hijacking going on. But they happen on a fresh VM with a known-good DNS and/or using tor.
Also, notice that one of the results from the first example seems to be a 'related' result based on ANOTHER result? WTF? Suggesting a credit card for pets (with no mention of "dog") because a different result was for vet services?
About 1 in 10 of my searches were Un-Googlable before I switched, because Google wants to give the the answer to Why chicken brown when I ask "Maillard" reaction "chicken" breast light dark meat temperature comparison.
I'm now starting to encounter Un-Duckable searches because DDG refuses to search for what I ask it to. Why can't you just give me results for the explicit things I'm searching for?
Privacy
And why, WHY, am I suddenly getting all these LOCAL results?
Since WHEN is that a thing that DDG does outside of the Map results?
If I want results for a local supplier, I will search for them. If I want results for something in a specific area, I will use a search term.
You know what is NOT useful to me?
Searching for "cheddar" cheese salt content comparison "Vermont" "Wisconsin" "Ontario" "Somerset" and getting...
- Local results for any of those locations.
- Recommended ways to reduce my sodium intake.
- The location of the nearest Chuck E. Cheese
This got far more rant-y than I intended. But this should NEVER have been a problem to begin with. I understand that there is this big push to make searches easier for 'everyone' by using natural language and inferences. I disagree with it, but I understand why.

I jump started again this morning and drove to the nearest O'Reilly and Autozone which both gave me this error code. I initially thought it could be a battery issue, but the error codes P265B and P2646 show up, indicating something with the "B" Rocker Arm Actuator Position Sensor. Car started just fine after driving a little bit, but needed a jump start after short drives. The check engine light also disappeared after I ran the diagnostics at Autozone. What could be the issue here now?
A few days ago, my front right fog light and low beam headlight went out, and then earlier today, noticed the right high beam also went out. Stopped by the nearest autozone, got the bulbs to replace them with, and they're still not working after replacing. All the lights on the left side are still working fine.
I checked the fuse and the fuse was still good. If someone can double check, the fuse that I would have checked should be the number 1 position in the instrumental panel.
I do have to take my car into the shop for some routine maintenance, but I'm wondering if there's anything else I should check to see why the front right lights aren't working.
