arriving ATH right to Aegean air, time needed?
2023.05.31 01:14 ebt_hon arriving ATH right to Aegean air, time needed?
I am set to land in Athens tomorrow on delta/air france and hopping right to aegean airlines to fly to santorini as first stop. We had around 2 hours (still cutting it close, I know), but now our scheduled arrival time at ATH is now a bit later and we land at 2P and Aegean flight departs at 1:10.
Has anyone done this? Am I crazy to hope that we might make it (customs, bags)

Anyone in the Las Vegas area willing to quote to drive a little over 8 hours to Delta Colorado? Not through the app as it won't allow me but will give cash up front.

2023.05.31 00:50 Radagast-75 Overgrown caves - Thjolian boss gained insta kill?
TLDR: ME KILL BIG THOLIAN. ME FAIL BE NOT SMART. BIG THOLIAN BIG DEATHRAYAOE.. ME DEAD. HELP.
The problem is Mech Lords ability "Violent discharge" which deal double the damage my character has health and its often unavoidable due getting stuck on something and away team just being what they are, not trying to stay away from almost cave wide cone AoE.
So i'd like to play on elite which means i expect challenge, but its always in STO that there one thing or another that changed since last playthrough.. At least i dont remember this being like that before.. Maybe a year or litle more ago.
So i played this cave part of new Romulus many times and i do know that in any level, the last big Tholian in the caves can be a pain at times, but now maybe since some other new mission with Tholian got some new thing in bigger area or something, this boss Tholian also seems to have gained a very large AoE attack that deals heavy damage.
Meaning even when my whole away team and i are on epic gear which i did made myself so its not a best set but good still.. If any of my away team or myself stands in the field, we all die or those that stand in it die instantly from full health/shield to zero-Dead.
I can manage to avoid most hits even while the area is almost as big as the small cave where the battle happens, but eventually i do get stuck on something when it fires or the Thjolian webs me and then the area attack kills me when i cant do anything and naturally dead away team from first attack is useless and reviving them seem like a waste of time.. As is the injury system in these kinds of situations.. The whole injury thing seems pointless as i dont really gain anything extra from the increased difficulty exept more fun battles exept naturally these kind of expepsion.
Now since i also played GW2 and im used to battles take last few days on boss level(Thats a pun :D). but unlike GW2 STO is not very well made game and getting stuck at something when you have to move is a big problem. I also could reduce difficulty, but then again in standard everything would be stupid easy exept maybe the boss or maybe an advanced but i really dont want to run the whole cave again to just try...
But maybe i do it on Standard tomorrow necause for the Delta recruit thingy, i have to do it to get that part done.
Still. I would like to hear some suggestions on how to deal with this Tholian death ray. :)

2023.05.31 00:43 Tight_Couture344 Is there any reason to get a Delta Platinum or Reserve if I already have an Amex Platinum?
If I don’t fly Delta often enough to chase status, I can’t see any real reason to go for either the Delta Plat or Reserve.
Mainly I just want to take advantage of the 15% off award bookings, priority boarding, and the free checked bag. I think those are all the same benefit across all the cards, including Delta Gold?

2023.05.31 00:40 JazzlikeSpare9 26F I am in need of a strong connection
I’ve been posting for a while, trying to find a connection with someone. Someone to talk to about my day, about life, about interests. Someone I can trust won’t judge me if I’m having a bad day or if things are getting stressful, and vice versa.
I’m looking to get to know someone around the state, then maybe something after that. I don’t want to start off hot and heavy, I want a slow burn. Someone to make me smile and I can do the same. People have told me I’m hysterical. Self-deprecating humor is the best!
Anyway, I’m Emma, 26 years old, living in atl midtown, check my other posts to learn more. I’m a night owl. Got a part time job that keeps me busy but mostly free every night.
I’m genuinely a good and outgoing person, I like to interact and meet new people. Small talk is my weakness so I might ask a lot of questions lol.
Thank you for coming to my terrible rant ,happy weekend everyone!
Love and Peace Emma

2023.05.31 00:38 Rufmichael Does Delta still rock?
| || |
Enjoyed the new Sky Club at G concourse at MSP before my flight to SEA, which was a great experience by itself. Was upgraded to First and here is the kicker: not only were we served pre departure drinks but also pre departure snacks? Where did this come from? The salad and fruit actually tasted good! Thanks Delta for a great travel day. submitted by Rufmichael to delta [link] [comments]
2023.05.31 00:32 aliviasahl Delta flight operated by LATAM
Would this be considered a Delta flight? I have the Amex platinum card and can now only use the delta sky lounge when I fly delta or delta operated flights. I was about to book a flight JFK—>Santiago, Chile via the delta app and noticed it was LATAM operated. Curious if anyone has experience or know if I’ll get lounge access. Thanks!

2023.05.31 00:21 YourCoolStepDad91 My first LPVO
| || |
Got my first LPVO mounted up - pretty sure I need to move the scope forward in the mount and the mount back a few slots in the rail but whatever, eye relief is fine right now. Delta Stryker HD 1-6 on a DDV7LW upper and F1 lower (not one of their hideous ones luckily) also featuring a mad ugly YHM comp purchased and installed purely to annoy my buddy who shoots a comped SCAR. submitted by YourCoolStepDad91 to ar15 [link] [comments]
Reddit experts, did I mount this incorrectly?
2023.05.31 00:20 Glittering-Tap-6129 Help me out hackers…
To simplify a long story - Im being sent to work In Idaho (closest airport IDA/Idaho Falls). My wife and kids are staying home in Denver - Ill basically be doing this for a year. All the reasons why dont matter - we’re all onboard.
My work week will be 9-6 Tues/Saturday typically. I do have a little flex and lots of paid vacation.
Im trying to figure out the most cost effective way to fly back and forth on my weekends. United flies direct Denver, Delta sometimes does and also has connections through SLC.
IDA airport is easy AF security wise - but with Denver security on the way home I probably want Pre-check or Clear etc
Whats my best way to save flight money and best way to minimize security waits?

2023.05.31 00:20 raccoons4president Chase Sapphire vs. Amex Gold (Other recommendations welcome)
Current cards: (list cards, limits, opening date) Amazon Prime, 8k limit, ~2017
Southwest, 13k limit, ~2021 (I intend to close this or back off on using-- recommendations welcome on which to do)
Wells Fargo, 6k limit, 2013
FICO Score: e.g. 792 Oldest account age: e.g. 9 years, 11 months Chase 5/24 status: 1/24 Income: Current salary is around ~40k, but starting new job in August, anticipated annual salary to be $90-100k.
Average monthly spend and categories: dining: $308 groceries: $392 gas: $59 travel: $983 (This includes Lyfts + flights) other: $1151 (this is "shopping" according to chase, which includes all amazon purchases and will continue to be put on the 5% amazon card, and some shared/reimbursable expenses that could be moved onto other card).
Open to Business Cards: Potentially. I do not have an LLC but make about ~$20 a year on Etsy selling digital printables.
What's the purpose of your next card?
TLDR: Maximizing rewards between everyday expenses and a mild/moderate amount of travel.
I am thankfully moving in with my (now long distance) significant other, rendering my Southwest card fairly useless. I anticipate my travel to go WAY down-- we have all of our Southwest travel booked through October, and have a few flights remaining to book that I hope to use this new card for. I expect to travel in the future 5-6x per year (most likely a combo of Delta, American). Only a handful of those trips will we need hotels. We are expecting a large international trip to visit his family possibly next year, travel advisories allowing. Lounge access would only be a bonus but I have been "roughing it" for almost two years flying 2-3x a month without it and been doing just fine.
I spend a lot of money on groceries and dining out and anticipate this to increase living with SO. This points me to Amex gold, but I have some reservations since Chase points seem to be an on-the-cent better value, and I am uncertain how smooth the renewal process is for either.
I also am someone who will spend time gaming the system and researching accordingly-- I have been intrigued about the ability to transfer gold points to other rewards programs.
Do you have any cards you've been looking at? Amex Gold, Chase Sapphire (Preferred or Reserve) -- I am okay with the heavier AF if a flight credit is accompanied.
Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card? I think I will get better bang for my buck on category, but open to suggestions!

2023.05.31 00:20 cbomb111 Repercussions of “legal” Marijuana Use [TX]
Hypothetical situation….you occasionally take delta 8 marijuana gummies but only do it at home, no kids present, no driving or operating heavy machinery. A week later, you are driving along and are involved in an accident. Drug tests are administered, for whatever reason, and, of course, you test positive for marijuana.
Do police departments, as a matter of policy, test after an accident? Does anyone know how the courts view the grey legal area in which Delta 8 currently resides?
Trying to figure out the risk/reward scenario with the occasional usage of such a product. Thanks so much for your time.

2023.05.31 00:06 steventual Bathroom tiles design
Looking for some input, redoing the master bathroom in two weeks so I need all the supplies.
It’s a small washroom 9ft x 8.5ft, going to be doing a curbless shower with glass surround/door. Double vanity 60” with two led mirror 28”x36” each side by side. Freestanding tub with freestanding faucet. Delta hardwares.
I need some feedback about tiles. So the plan was to do the floor tile and then 4 ft up around the bath/up around the shower.
1) should I do full wall tile up to ceiling all sides? Seems that’d look nice and feel more spa like. I think it means fixtures become permanent though (toilet holder, towel holders) as you aren’t likely to patch it. I’m ok with it but may limit future owners 10+ years down the line
2) I had my mind set on 24”x48” white culcutta style/marble looking porcelain tiles. The contractor mentioned 12”x24” would be better for a smaller bathroom. I’m on the fence I like there’s less grout on the bigger tiles. And if it’s up the walls maybe it’ll feel nicer.
3) Should I tile the shower different color than the rest or just keep it all the one color? Same with walls would it look ok all same tile?
Any input appreciated! Here’s some pictures from magicplan planning the space. https://imgur.com/a/K70YLuL
Keep in mind the plan is same tile in shower but since it’s curbless it’ll probably be pie shaped like this: https://cocotileflooringcontractor.com/wp-content/uploads/Coco-Tile-Flooring-Contractor-Inc.-European-Shower-Base-Ottawa-1531x2048.jpg.webp

2023.05.31 00:02 PBroti Surprise $500 Dental Bill
I went to a dentist for the first time in February. Intake forms, x-rays, and a sales pitch on an expensive cleaning that I decide not to go with. I find another dentist for a more affordable cleaning. Then in march I get a claim summary (bill) for $456 from the first dentist. It's for images (x-rays). Some are covered, partially covered, or not covered (D0350) by my insurance. I filed a grievance with Delta Dental, but they cannot confirm or deny whether I was informed of the expense/lack-of-coverage (I wasn't).
I'm told that I can call the Benefit Specialist at my HR for 2nd level appeals (I work as a teacher at a school district).
I've also been recommended to file a complaint with the Dental Board (I'm in California).
I've been told I could go to Small Claims, but I've never done that and it seems like it could have other consequences.
I also (and no I haven't done this yet) could call up the dentist and see if we can reach a better understanding. I do see on Yelp that many folks have been stuck in a similar situation with this place since their ownership changed.
I can of course also just pay the bill and take it as a lesson in discernment.
Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

2023.05.31 00:02 justwandering1991 Jeju in Atlanta
I’ve been several times and I love it. I’ve gone at different times (late at night, early mornings, midday), but I’ve never stay through the whole night. I have a situation that is bringing to town late at night for an early flight out of ATL and was thinking about spending the time at Jeju in lieu of a hotel since it’s more affordable and the amount of time I need a room is so short. Has anyone stayed through the night? If so, what’s it like? I know the facility is open 24 hours, but do they offer any services during the hours of like 1AM and 7AM?
