Jokes aside, I was able to replace my handlebar (they call it a cockpit) with the part cowboy sent me as a warranty claim. I learned a lot about how the bike was designed and constructed. I’m convinced whatever engineers designed it did not consider serviceability or repairs. Very challenging and wishing there were bike shops that worked on these things.
I made an attempt to refill the brake fluid since I had to disconnect the break lines to replace the handle bar. I tried my darndest to use a bleed kit but it’s just beyond my skill level. Thankfully after calling several bike shops I found one willing to bleed my breaks.
Rest in piece anyone trying to get a cowboy repaired in the US because damn what a shit show. I didn’t even mention how they screwed up the parts they were going to send me and never sent the grips and sent me 2 left brake levers. Whatever orders system they use is non functional.

I've been on a bit of a space adventure kick recently. Prior to this I listened to the expanse series, bobiverse series, PHM, the Martian and Artemis. I don't think this was ever great writing, but it was entertaining enough. I really feel like the wheels came off around book 11. The awful romance writing in the first half almost ended it for me. The way Adams was written was truly disgusting and sexist, then she was relegated to being Joe's mentioned girlfriend for almost the remainder of the series.
All the Beercan ex Machina got to be tiring. And, of course, that's how the whole business ends, which, I suppose, at least kept true to the format.
Overall, it was entertaining. It was mostly worth the audible credits, but I don't know that I'd actually recommend it to anyone.

I have a lot of anxiety about his sleep so I’m sorry if this is a rambling post but any advice would be great!
He’s a pretty good sleeper there’s nothing really to complain about but sometimes he takes 1-2 hours to actually fall asleep. He doesn’t cry he literally just plays happily in his crib but I’m following all his cues when I put him in the crib. We usually go up around 5:30 (I know early but he does wake up by 630/7, 730 on a really lucky day) and by 6/615 he grabs his blanket and “asks” to go to bed. but some nights (including now) it’s 7:30/8 by the time he’s actually sleeping.
He still does nap from 12-1:40 (sometimes 1:30) but again I’m trying to follow his cues and he kind of asks to go up…
I’ve been feeling like his bedtime is too early and trying to push it back but it’s weird because he “asks” to go up and asks to go to his crib. there was one day he didn’t nap but partly because he took a 15-min nap in the car and so for nap time he just played in his crib for an hour and half… I just can’t really imagine him not having a nap because he does get a tired towards mid day so I’m not sure if he is ready to drop it or not. but I’m just a ball of stress when it takes him this long to sleep at night lol even though yes he’s not upset or fussy AT ALL it just drives me up a wall to see him not sleep…

- Alex verus By Benedict Jaka: This one is an Urban fantasy set in London, it's about a mage who works at a shop living a chill life but thing got bumpy and the book began In Ernest. The main character power grows throughout the series and can easily be found in both reviews of the book and from the recommendations I received. It has 12 books and actually ended well according to the large amount of fans reviewing the last book.

I am in my late 20s. At this stage in life, most of my peers are getting married and forming families of their own. Meanwhile, I am 28 and not only am I one of the last ones standing single, but I have never even had a real girlfriend before. I haven't even kissed a woman in 8 years now.
The issue is, most women my age have experienced love at least once, most likely multiple times. If they are still single, they are realizing most of their friends are getting married too and they are starting to feel some pressure. They have likely been crazy about other guys from their past, but for whatever reason, it never worked out. They had their fun, now they want to settle down.
I don't want to be that guy she settles with. I don't want to be the guy where she has been more intensely and passionately in love with other guys, but she settles with me even though I am not the guy she has been the most crazy for. I don't want it to be like that movie, "The Wedding Ringer" where the bride settles for the guy because she is just tired of dating assholes.

Species: Cat Age: 12 Sex/Neuter status: Female, spayed Breed: Short-haired domestic (calico) Body weight: 4.3 kg/9.5 lbs History: In early April my cat vomited, dry-heaved twice, took a few steps and passed out for about 30 seconds. We took her straight to the emergency vet who said it appeared to be a vagal response. My cat has always had a history of periodic vomiting, which her primary vet wasn't too concerned about, but the ER doc recommended seeing an internist to make sure nothing serious was going on. Her first appointment with the internist they did a sonogram, a GI panel and bloodwork. Sonogram and GI panel looked fine, but her liver enzymes were high (I believe ALT were around 750+). We further tested for hyperthyroidism, which was negative. Vet recommended a biopsy, but given that she was otherwise normal and healthy, I asked about less invasive options and the vet agreed we could trial antibiotics and then steroids if those didn't work. A 2-week trial of Veraflox increased her numbers into the 800s. We stopped the antibiotic and then trialed 5mg of prednisolone for 2 weeks. A recheck today showed her levels through the roof — I don't know exact numbers but they were in the 2000s. The vet said we need to reconsider biopsy to see what's going on, which I agreed. We are tapering the prednisolone and then will have the biopsy in about a month. Clinical signs: None. First week on the prednisolone she did seem a little more tired than usual but now seems like her normal self. Has been eating, drinking, and using the litterbox fine.
Duration: We've been aware of the high liver enzymes for approximately 2 months. Your general location: USA My vet told me there's nothing we can do until she's tapered off the prednisolone and has the biopsy. My concern is that my husband and I are leaving soon for a 2-week international vacation. quick backstory on why i'm asking this: when i was younger, i used to be bullied a lot for being "weird", and i never knew why i behaved the way i do, i still don't. i started lying to gain sympathy so people could excuse my abnormal behavior as "coping mechanisms" and such, but i've been doing it for so long i feel like i've lost touch with who i actually am?
i feel like i have to lie in order for people to genuinely enjoy my company, otherwise i'm too weird, and i don't know what to do. it's gone as extreme to where i'm lying about having friends that committed su!c!de (which i have always felt bad about, but can't stop doing - i HAVE to be interesting and scarred to everybody all of the time, or else i don't feel like i have an excuse for not fitting in and being able to make friends? i don't know), and as small as eating five bowls of cereal instead of two because i just HAVE to impress people all of the time. i want to stop lying for sympathy, i want to be honest about who i am and everything that comes with that, but the positive feedback from the lies makes not having to display any sort of "true" self so much easier. i am so scared to be honest with people, i don't want to be judged, but i'm so tired of the guilt i feel from lying that it is just not worth it anymore.

Just picked up an immaculate 2008 328i base 91k miles for $5500 was wondering what I need to do as far as maintenance goes for pm measures. I set aside about 3-4K for it and whatever extra will be going towards mods. Mainly looking for a nice head unit and dash/rear camera now and possibly rear m3 conversion front splitters and new headlights. Already have the tints I want. Will get new shoes in a few months. (Want to drive it another 4-9k miles) to see if the car is really sound and bulletproof. 3rd owner here but has 34 services done at the dealership. Mainly was just oil changes, trans flush/ spark plugs. Battery/tires changed. Didn’t see anything about belts/pumps being replaced.

Hi experts, I am thinking about purchase a Costco Travel package. Curious what kind of category does it show up in the credit card bill, is it travel related (thus may be eligible for extra point bonus, e.g. Citi Premier 3X) or just Costco (which normally is just 1X on point for most cards)?
If it is the latter, I was thinking it may be worthwhile to purchase Costco Shop Card from Discover (given 5% cashback) to pay for the first $1500 and then pay by credit card for the rest. Any other advices?
