Lot of people rant on "why does one need to learn all the three subjects, if at the end of the day I want to do cs either way?". This was what I used to think too, my chemistry is screwed up in comparision to math and phy, but I still needed to learn it to try get a seat in good government college.
However as advanced is coming close, abhi pata chala why. Obviously overpopulation is one reason for conducting extremely brutal exams just for highschoolers, but the other main reason is to learn the importance of hardwork and consistency.
Even though I wont get the air 1 which i wanted in the start of 11th, I realised that I am very different from the person who I was back then. I have grinded my ass off doing things I dont want to, doing all those things because I had no other choice to achieve my goal.
Abhi realise hua ki shayad mai pcm ke 80% concepts bhul jaunga, par yeh hardworking spirit rahega. People always tell "college does not matter, skills does." And that is 100% true. But what sets apart IITs is not the college itself, it is the students.
The students entering IITs have worked their ass of and finally have gotten what they dreamed of, but what they also have developed the spirit to put in the work and put in the hours (🤨). Their brain is already hardwired to work hard, and no matter what task is given, most of the time they will end up on the top, because they already have developed the ability to pursue something relentlessly.
Chalo ab gaaliya mat do mujhe, bas mere thoughts and opinions hai, personally mujhe bhi yahi feel ho raha hai ki no matter where i end up, mai kuch na kuch to ukhad hi lunga. Hoping iss time next week mai IITs me mera best option choose karta rahunga.
Crazy to think next month iss samay I will be leaving my family and going to a new place and starting a new chapter after so many years, starting from watching alakh sirs videos in 10th for ray optics. bc kuch jyada hi emosional ho gaya genuinely cant wait for all this to be over.

Does anyone else feel rage while driving in Pakistan? There are so many things that just push your buttons.

Before I get blasted with "Kaam karta apna toh yeh din na dekhne padte, padhle bsdk." I'm scoring 200/300 in my coaching tests, (0 in chemistry because separate tution for Organic, will complete by august).
I've been waking up, studying, lifting hard, taking a shit ton of pills, ex. Ashwagandha (1200mg), and other kinda medication.. And it's all becoming so pointless, that I've started to literally abuse myself whether it be under suicidal amount of weights to cause pain and feel human or even cuting my own hands..
No, it's not about a girl or being a failure. I AM a failure at life, but that doesn't concern this. All my life people have kept telling me that do not let yourself be driven by motivation, be driven by discipline because discipline is not temporary. But what the hell do I do if I can't even feel myself and what I used to be anymore, 24/7 my life is about who and how is anyone scoring marks more than me, and what will happen when JEE is done? Will I [email protected] myself if I don't have anything left to cling on to?
I've lost friends because "Woh difficult time ke through jaara hai toh uska burden hum kyu lein", or either they vape and smoke (good riddance for the second one tbh). Coaching teachers hate me because I fight with toppers for the first bench and I'm exactly the kind that they hate, the kind who is expected to not ask a doubt if other students are judging him for the sheer stupidity or basic nature of the doubt, or the one who is sternly against their bootlickers who look down upon every single other kid just because their scores are not as good as them. School I don't go, because there are exams frequently and coaching pace is a lot slow and I'll definitely fail if I become overconfident. Activites I do are Piano and Powerlifting and even music is starting to make me depressed, more so than studies.
I hate studying for sure, I'm not gonna lie about it, but I also know how to build a symbiotic relationship with something that'll allow me flourish at the cost of sucking my fucking soul. Even I don't know how a man like me could sit for 4-5 hours and sometimes even 8-9 hours a day (12 hours including a 3 hour test sometimes), because all I knew about myself was playing PUBG till class 9.
Ek GF thi, who just left because I wasn't good enough. And ab ICSE wale baalakon ki "friend" hai because oh, they're definitely the cool kids and I am just someone who again is not even good at giving people a reason to not leave.
My mother tells me on a repeated basis that if I k1ll myself it'd be good. Telling me that my birth is "the one thing that she regrets the most"
My father refuses to acknowledge me as his child because I tried offing myself, and he refuses to have a "hijda" son and blah blah blah (no I'm not ghey he just thinks I'm weak) and I have to call him by sir or just not use any salutation if I want to talk to him.
Life me definitely kabhi kisi chiz ki kami nahi rahi, and that makes this feeling even worse. Thousands of kids on this subreddit from absolutely shitty financial conditions who have put even their houses on the line to pay coaching dues are doing much fine without complaining, but honestly I know how much I'm dying bit by bit everyday.
I wouldn't say that I don't have friends, but it's more like they are acquaintances, and it's not as if it's their mistake, I just don't look really trustworthy because definitely who wants to be talking to the guy who insists on sitting in the very front everytime without a reason (I'm scared of getting distracted if I sit in the back again.) Does this ever end? I was an all good atheist until a few months back but the day it came to the point when I had noone to call except god, the reason for not believing in god became the reason to believe in him, that was why believe in an upper existence, which became just trust the upper existence.
I pray everyday to him to oversee me through even stronger challenges that he will give me, but I feel that at this point I'm heading towards nowhere. My question stands, what next. Bade bhai/behen, help kardo.
Bonus tip and answer to my previous post~ for maths just solve allen ke modules if you wanna practice subtopic wise, very very good tbh.
For physics if you believe that your strength in question solving relies in your understanding of theory, go for Resnick Haliday (also helps in board prep side by side, ultra pro Max version of SL arora lmao), and if you think that all you can do to strengthen your ability of solving questions is just practice more questions without having to read even a bit of theory, do your modules+cengage solved illustrations. You'll absolutely kill any and every difficulty level of questions.

edit: there might be some students who are advanced capable and arent able to understand ashish sir, it's okay but i am writing this for the rest of the non-serious students who dont give a damn about studies or want lower level content, also I dont know Sachin sir kesa padhata hai.

Introduction dedeta hun, I'm from TS and 10th mein mere 78% aaye the, in 2021 hamara school ne preboards se internal dala tha, which I didn't write because I had COVID. Rewind back 2 months, I had failed in math test half yearly. Decided I'll work my ass off, hired a private tutor who taught me online, and gained confidence in math. My other subjects were ok ok. Bina kisi doubt ke I took pcm in 11th bc I fell in love with math. I gave KVPY SA while I was in 11th and I realised the love I actually have for bio. Parents ko pura convince karke I decided to change stream from pcm to pcmb bc they didn't want me to lose options. Pcmb unfortunately state board mein nhi tha.
Anyway I aced 11th ke boards (TSBIE) Jee prep was also going good, I could solve advanced level stuff. social life was going extremely well until I met a girl. I started to develop feelings and ignored most of my friends for her, turned out she used me for attention almost 4 months later.
12th mein already chem me boht weak tha, so I left chem (worst mistake) thinking I'll clear cutoff with just physical. Focused on math and physics. October mein I met a girl who made me think she likes me until a few weeks back. Totally ruined my prep in hopes of talking to her day and night. Adv in <7 days and Ghanta kuch nhi solve hora, par looking back, mains toh clear kr Diya with 96.5 percentile. NEET bhi Diya tha and I totally fucked it up. Cse mein interest nhi hai, par papa ka tension Kam karne ke liye, try kr rha hun. Anyway I told my parents all about my situation. I told them I'm having suicidal thoughts and explained everything. Basically I realised whatever these 2 years have taught me is that, having a direction and a fixed goal is more important than putting extreme hard efforts into various things, this is for all the people who think they're multi-talented. Also ladkiyon ke piche mat bhagna Bhai, kyunki no girl deserves the hard work and efforts you put into making yourself better these 2 years. I promise yeh Jo aapka mehnat hai, this will help you respect yourself. DO NOT LOSE YOURSELF ever. Your parents love you the most, more than anybody else and I promise you they'll understand if you just open up to them.
TLDR: I ruined my prep for JEE based on taking hasty decisions, but I'm proud of myself for making it this far.

The reason i'm asking for it is because of my parents. Although i've got admission in TIET Patiala, my parents are not at all happy because they were hoping that i'll get admission in UIET or CCET. So, I was snacking and my mother turned on the TV and she changed the channel and she started watching this movie Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye. And I also started watching it. I have already watched the movie as a kid. It was the beginning of the movie and Salman and Rani's character were talking to each other. Rani's character says to Salman's character that, "she'll never fall in love and directly get married", to that I said, "Mujhe tumse pyaar ho hi jayega akhir tum hero jo ho" then Salman's character starts talking about the girl he's in love with (Raveena's character) and how she doesn't care about him and tells Rani that if she's able to make her (Raveena's character) understand that how amazing he's. He'll love Rani forever. To that I said, "Haan Haan Hume yeh prove bhi toh karna hai ki ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte" I said this because I know that Rani is the main lead opposite Salman. It's a flop movie. But when I watched the scene where Salman's character suffered the similar fate as Ted from How I Met Your Mother.
