Decompressing from my stressful day at work so if anyone would like to come and catch a few Elegant Vivillon over the next ~two hours (until about 11PM my time KST; 7AM PST/10AM EST) they are more than welcome. Been looking around online but can't seem to find it anywhere. Will it unlock on steam at 9pm (pst) Thursday? Sometimes steam games wait till 10am though so I'm just unsure. Thanks in advance

Me and my group of 2 (all 20+) are looking for a game that can be either an official module or homebrew campaign to run. We are all experienced players willing to play any high fantasy setting, no matter how gritty it may be. We all prefer high roleplay content though we are not opposed to combat, it is the roleplay aspect that makes the storytelling and experience memorable. All of us have been DMs in some shape or form, so don't worry about us disregarding your lore and killing NPCs back to back. We want to be immersed of course in your world and are willing to work one on one with you, on building characters suited to your world.
Additional Information and Summary:
- All of us have 3+ years of DnD Experience
- All of us have been DMs consistently in the past
- Have a few pre-planned characters but are willing to also make new ones for the setting of course!
- Are familiar with DndBeyond and Dicecloud for online sheets
- Are familiar with Roll20 and Foundry for maps

This adventure sets you on a trail of cold blood leading you onto a glacier just as chilling as the supernatural murder mystery you’re about to uncover. The silent snow here covers many ancient secrets. Testing your survival and investigation skills - and not to mention your sanity as well. Will you continue to look for answers in the freezing lands or will the cold and horror of the aurora fields overwhelm you?
Doing a game of this Level 5 One Shot.
Anyone is able to join, but I do prefer to have a mix of genders male, female etc... to balance out the table. LGBTQ+ friendly. We will go over session zero, backstories, character creation, rules, foundry tutorial and table manners, and any other questions you may have before play.
Requirements:

1. Have a Clear mic for voice & video via Discord with a quiet background audio while playing. Phones are not acceptable as an audio source (Video is not required, but I like to use it as I am a very social person and I like to Roleplay with the players).
2. The game is played over Foundry VTT (Virtual Tabletop) via Molten Hosting, as such it requires a good network connection & bare minimum specs of a laptop or pc that can play a game via this generation if you're using a chrome book or very weak or old laptop it will not run good and will lag out or crash constantly. The higher specs you have of a better rig the better it will run.
3. Looking for 5 players, also looking for feedback after the game if any is appreciated if you have any insight for me afterwards if something perhaps needed more context or explaining or if you think I can somehow run it smoother let me know :) always open to constructive criticism.
4. Character creation will be done on DnDBeyond, Point Buy, Standard Equipment, Sticking to traditional races and classes, No Homebrew. 650gp to spend on items. Any more questions on character creation or anything else can be discussed during the session zero.

Y'all were so wonderful about my last housing question
I have another: Why is the housing all two weeks out? Like even the little facebook subletting groups. Two weeks, or less & even three weeks is being scoffed at as too far out. What?
I am currently reading posts published today asking for people to move in BY June 1st as if that is totally normal. Everyone I have talked to who isn't from Portland is equally shocked by this. Everything in DC is month in advance, less than a month if you are desperate desperate and like won't get approved for a formal lease.
Additionally, I am being told by buildings to check google docs every morning at 10am PST for the daily listings to hunger games fight it out (and of course move in two weeks if approved or you will lose your aprarmten and deposit etc). I know about the housing equity law etc, but this really seems to be done actually to prevent out of city movers. Like I know about the homelessness etc, but come on this is wild to me.
Anyone know what's up with this? Is this just Portland and I am being crazy? How do you find housing???

The Campaign
The campaign is high fantasy inspired by an old Ryan Ridley show called Utopia. A homebrew isolationist city has branded itself Utopia, boasting virtually no poverty or violent crime. This is achieved through strict adherence to policies making sure everyone's serving the greater good, low tolerance for infractions, and forced re-education for unproductive members of society. Enforcement has recently had to be stepped up, unfortunately, as rumors of an underground insurgency have been growing in the past months. Again, this isn't set in modern times, still high fantasy. The Big Brother government uses magics like Detect Thoughts, Zone of Truth, magic identification amulets they can use Locate Object on, even beefier stuff like Modify Memory, all to enforce adherence to their set of ideals.
The concept is actually fairly common in fiction -- dystopia, underground rebellion, excitement. There's going to be a lot of instances where combat is not the best option. It's going to be a fantasy setting with magic and all that, but fairly contained into the one city where there's a heavy Big Brother element. What you could be in that society is up to you -- you could be a cop who works for the Leader, you could be a street sweeper, a criminal who's been in and out of re-education, a priest for the state-sponsored religion, whatever.
The group is about 3 sessions in but had one person no longer able to continue.
The Group
This campaign is for DMs who want to spend more time as players. We're looking to form a group where everyone has DM experience, where when this campaign concludes, someone's got something else prepared. Whether you want to run a module or do something homebrew is up to you, and when you're DM, you make the rules.
Details will be discussed, but ultimately, this will be a group where DM duties can rotate once this campaign is concluded. It'll be a group where everyone at the table recognizes the value of the group's time, where you can relax and have a good time, while also looking forward to getting to run your own campaign with the same group.
There are actually two groups, so ultimately there will be something like a baker's dozen worth of people who can play or DM. It makes discussion of things super-fun, and I got to tell you, it's a treat to play with engaged players who all buy in to what we're doing.

Hey All, I'm a professional GM through the website StartPlaying.Games. I'm running multiple campaigns throughout the week for various experience levels. Below is a schedule of games that need additional players! If you're interested the link to my page will be posted below!
My GM style is very focused on role playing and Theatre of the Mind. I do come up with maps and dip into Roll20 during big encounters, but a lot of the players I've played with have enjoyed the detailed description and roll playing banter I participate in. I take the time to build good foundation for the characters and players, and do my best to make sure everyone is included.
I wanted to create a lot of opportunities for new gamers to get a chance to see what its like to play, hence the duplicate games of Dragon of Icespire Peak, note that the Tuesday/Thursday Games are DIFFERENT campaigns (One campaign is Tuesday 10am/week, etc)
Eventually I will be adding an Avatar Legends: The RPG Sessions from Magpie Games using the PBTA (Powered by the Apocalypse) rules.
