2023.05.31 01:29 sweaterw34ther BD after Hysteroscopy
TL/DR: Had a hysteroscopy on 5/24 (6 days ago). Post op instructions say nothing in vagina for 10 days meaning no BD. Today is CD 13, just saw LH surge on OPK and lots of fertile cm. This is our last chance to try natural before starting embryo transfer cycle. Am I probably safe to BD today & tomorrow or stupidly risking infection too soon after the procedure? Anyone with experience ttc the same cycle as a hysteroscopy?
TW: Mmc
Summary above is basically it but I’ll ad background:
Froze embryos prior to cancer treatment in 2019. We were ttc for about 8 months prior to my cancer diagnosis (I was 29 at the time, now 33). In April last year I came off all medications to TTC. I only have 1 ovary but it’s functional and healthy.
Fell pregnant in Sept 2022 but ended in mmc at the end of October at 9.5 weeks. We started trying again in November and every month since with no success. I have regular 28-29 day cycles, ovulating on day 14.
Because of the type of cancer I had, my oncologist is encouraging me to go back on hormone suppression by early next year to reduce risk of recurrence. Which basically puts a lot of pressure on us to get pregnant soon. Hence the reason I have begun preparing for an embryo transfer.
A few months back we decided if we weren’t pregnant by now we would give that a try. We will be doing a natural transfer cycle using my natural hormones so I’m not doing any injections right now, there’s really no reason not to try this cycle…EXCEPT that I had a hysteroscopy to check my uterine lining 6 days ago and my post-op paperwork says no sex for 10 days because of risk of infection. I am finishing up a preventative cycle of doxycycline and everything feels normal down there. After the procedure while the anesthesia was still wearing off my RE came to tell me my uterus looks goos, I asked about ttc this cycle and he said “I wouldn’t” and walked away :/
Today I am having alllllll the ovulation symptoms, so did an OPK and sure enough it looks like lh is peaking. We are prepared to go into the transfer cycle next month but it still feels sad to think about missing my fertile window this month on the off chance of an infection.
Anyone have experience with ttc the same cycle as a hysteroscopy? Am I probably safe to BD tonight/tomorrow or stupidly risking an infection? Thanks for reading <3

2023.05.31 01:27 wetmeatlol Which rims look the best?
I’m going to upgrade my rims and get rid of the 8.5” stock wheels finally but I’m very indecisive and not sure which style I like the best. I love the rims I have currently but they don’t come in the 11” width size but the second rim is the closest to them, but I think I’m actually leaning more towards the ZL1 style rims. Just want some opinions from others 😬 for reference I have a 2022 rapid blue LT1 with gloss black accent trim submitted by wetmeatlol to camaro [link] [comments]

2023.05.31 01:27 RamaLamb I'm too emotionally dependent on my only friend?
I've been friends with this person online for about 13 years or so. We're pretty much best friends and we'll say "I love you" to one another often and being affectionate to each other. We even online dated for almost all of 2022, But around half way last year, I started developing this feeling that they may not like me or care as much anymore. I've been obsessed with them making me feel good and feeling loved, and I sort of started to notice that they weren't really being that affectionate with me anymore. Around that time, they were getting harassed by creeps at work and dealing with other issues in their life and i know now that definitely had a part in them not wanting to do that stuff. Another thing too is that I've been really jealous of them hanging out and talking to other people and upset when they're not giving me all their love and attention. I know they care and I know they love me, but it's like a voice inside my head telling me that they don't and if they did, they'd "prove it".
They have told me that I'm being too dependent on them for my happiness and that I should be making more friends and I agree, but it's really hard for me to try talking to new people because I'm too shy, I'm more comfortable with them (my friend) more. I'm scared if I do meet new people, we'll end up drifting apart but my obsession is already straining our friendship and i feel terrible and guilty about that. They also suggested I see a therapist because they can't always be there for everything, and at the time I disagreed because all I wanted was attention and affection and i didn't want to say it outright, I didn't want it to be forced. I'm worried I could be a narcissist.
Yesterday I had a breakdown, I realized I really do need help, that i need to stop being afraid of talking about my feelings and I need to talk to more people. I put off seeing someone for so long I can't even afford it now with work being slow. But I want to prepare myself for when I can go talk to someone, and what I can do for myself in the meantime because I know I'll start feeling that way again and it'll undo any progress I've made.
I guess the TL;DR, I've been too clingy to the only friend I've had in my life and I'm afraid of being abandoned for it. I want to know what I can do for now until I'm able to see somebody.
I'm really sorry if this came off as a ramble, I can't think straight right now.

2023.05.31 01:26 Significant_Inside74 I'm starting to get bored and don't want to let go
I've watched Better Call Saul countless times since October 2022. However, after 7 months it's starting to not be as enjoyable as it used to be. I'm starting to not want to watch it and not think of it as often. However, I don't want to lose interest in the show and it's characters and move on to something else. Is there anything I can do?

2023.05.31 01:25 johntelevision AITA golf edition
So I will try to paint a quick picture here, but much like my short game I can get a bit long winded.
Booked a tee time for 9 this morning, couldn’t have asked for better weather so got a foursome together and was only able to find 9 holes around lunch time in the area. Find out (after paying full price for 9 holes) that there’s a high school tournament being held at the course. No biggie, pro shop says at worst we might have a bit of a wait towards the tail end. Again not a problem, last thing any of us wanted to do was get in the way of future golf addicts. We make it to hole 5 before we’re waiting 10-15 mins to tee off, doing our best to not even come close to the kids playing. After hole 6, we circle back finding a pocket of daylight back on hole 3 so rather than wait, we doubled back. We played 3 and 4 with no issue, but were approached by a cart headed straight for us on a par 3 while one of us was lined up to hit. It was a marshall, think nothing of it and back off to wait for him to get to us. He’s setting up for league, asks us what we’re doing, asks if we think it’s ok to steal from the golf course and tells us to go in and pay for another 9 before leaving. We tried explaining we doubled back to get through a full 9 and didn’t want to get in any of the kids way. We’re nowhere near anyone at this point so we figure 5 funnels towards the clubhouse so we’ll just hit, head towards the green, pick up and go. Marshall parks his cart on the tee box and says if we don’t leave he’s calling the cops. In the end we drove back to our cars, dropped our clubs off, didn’t pay for any additional golf and will take that course out of the rotation for a place that we usually play at least once a week.
Am I wrong for thinking the Marshall was a total dweeb and having no interest in ever returning to that course or is he in the right and we were the douches?
For the record, it was a Tuesday round after a holiday weekend, we weren’t drinking like usual or it’d likely be a different story..

2023.05.31 01:24 fantastic_sorrows He’s a big boi now
In July 2022 there was a pregnant stray cat hanging around the duplex I live in. She gave birth to 5 kittens and continued to hang out in the yard. In mid August, she and her litter disappeared, leaving this little guy behind. He was stuck in the fence and was crying loudly, until my neighbours found him. They couldn’t take him in, so they asked me if I could. He was in rough condition. He was bleeding from the back of his neck, his back leg was bleeding and he was limping. He was covered in fleas and had an eye infection. I took him to the vet and they told me he also had an internal infection {I can’t remember exactly what it was}. But fast forward to now, and you can’t even tell he was in bad shape! He’s a big boi now, and he’s only 10 months old! His name is Alphonse 🖤 submitted by fantastic_sorrows to IllegallySmolCats [link] [comments]

2023.05.31 01:24 NoodledLily Painful shakedown loop, rolling creek -> wigwam -> co trail
tldr - trail finding over / down ridges difficult
- pretty camp spots
- glutton for pain
- when will the pain stop
- 10/10 would do it again 😂 😂
CalTopo:
https://caltopo.com/m/RN320 Imgur:
https://imgur.com/a/d8oLtkI Started sunday. late. as usual. Got on trail about 3:15
the hike up is no joke. super steep. only one 'bad' water crossing (i suck at balance. also im buying poles next month.. getting too old)
very pretty waterfalls.
had a medium hard time finding trail when going over the ridge.
was also some snow / mud which which slowed me down prob 25 min splits day 1 with the gain and mud.
cool camp sites up on the ridge though. sadly some dumb ass left an obnoxious fort tepee of widow makers..
went down to the valley and camped only like 8 miles in. I should have just kept going another 4...
there were maybe 7 parties in the first 4 miles ;( . but happily no one again until first few miles from parking on other side of loop
the long flat part is pretty.
but would be hell weather in summer imho.
for some reason the trail goes through the meadow for many miles, no cover, all sun. even covered pike in summer gets too hot. why make that trail choice when there are trees 100 feet away...
some tiny fish though! how did they get up there?!
annnnd then again i had a real hard time finding the trail on the 2nd ridge descent.
I think it's part of CO trail? it needs a lot of love. not only down trees but trail was not easy to spot.
idk maybe i just suck.
I ended up down the wrong drainage. to my credit, I'm not the only one. part of reason I went astray were other footsteps.
It was either a large (and mostly dry) drainage bed or a maybe a wide game trail.
ended up almost a mile off trail and down hill. ugh. bush wacking up with wet ground and downed trees SUCKED
so imho bring a map and have good skills or pray your gps doesn't die
prob better once clears up a bit or maybe the trail society does maintenance.
bc that is not my experiences with CO trail: well maintained, busy as fuck, little green mountain signs every few hundred feet.
given my poor life choices had to do almost 19 miles on monday with that off trail excursion
;( capital O Ouch

2023.05.31 01:23 Alternative-Cat9174 being best friends with my ex best friend knowing everything that she did to me is crazy.
this is going to be a long post, so bare with me.
anyways, my (15F) best friend (16F) “M” is friends with my ex bsf (16F) “J” knowing that she did to me. i was best friends with “M” since i was 4 and I was best friends with “J” since i was 5. both of them have been friends with each other before they have been friends with me.
my relationship with “M”: my mom and her mom are friends, and some of my extended family members know her family. we met in my apartment complex (she used to live here and ironically, the apartment that i’m living in used to be her’s). her grandparents currently live in these apartments. me and her never really had any arguments that led to any fall-outs however she was always rude to me and has blantely body shamed me to my face. her mom likes me tho, however her brother was sometimes an asshole to me, and he himself is generally a trouble-maker (smokes/vapes and has ran away before). she sometimes moved houses so we sometimes didn’t get to see each other for various periods of time. we stopped being close in high school, and now she just hits me up when she needs something.
what happened between me and “J”: so me and her were friends since we were 5 (as previously mentioned). we also met in either these apartments or at church. same with M, J’s grandma also live in these apartments and J herself used to live here. my mom is currently good friends with her mom, her grandma is friends with my grandma, and her mom is also friends with my mom’s cousins. anyways, our friendship had been kind of rocky. she too was always rude to me, played victim, and overall caused drama. we had a fall-out in 2018 and shit was fixed, however we officially stopped being friends in 2019 because me and one of her other best friends had beef and she chose her side , and they both ganged up against me and bullied me relentlessly for days. 6 days prior to the official fall-out, J even messed with my bf (now ex obviously) behind my back. anyways, in early 2020, J threatened to fight me and also threatened to out to my parents that i’m bi and that “M” told her and that she has “proof” (i confronted M in which she denied ever telling her, insulted J, and swore on God that she never told her).
anyways, well, J and M are friends again. this shit hurts. how i found out was 2 years ago, J posted on tik tok (it was on me for stalking) saying “what are my green flags?” and while scrolling through the comments, i saw M’s comments and BROO THAT SHIT HURT. and not only that, but 10 days ago, M posted her and J hanging out around my apartment complex and M posted on her story photos of J and was like “i did her makeup 🤭”. bro when i tell you i was hurt, i mean it. like bro, did i not mean anything to you? wtf?
what hurts even more is how M only ever texts me if she needs anything. like bro, when she moved to LA back in October, my family and I were her transport for 2 weeks. she would text me and be like “hey OP can you guys take me to school?” she’s been visiting now, and she’s never texted me saying that she misses me and that if we can hang out. the only ever time she goes out is to hang out with another friend and my ex best friend, but not me.
what hurts way worse is how my parents still talk about J. my dad even compares me to her and is like “she’s been getting skinny, why can’t you also lose weight?” “(Insert various insults towards me and compares me to her)” “i saw her at the wedding a few days ago and she partying hard and was dancing crazy, why can’t you dance like her?” “why can’t you be respectful like her? she does chores and you don’t” + among various other things.
anyways, i’m just really distraught with all of this. this shit hurts so bad idk what to do tbh.

2023.05.31 01:22 Fancy_Pants111 Pharmacy Question
I’ve been in the calibrate program since Oct 2022. It’s an okay program. I’ve learned that I have to be proactive with Pillpack to get any prescriptions. So as usual I called last week to get my RX. I’m told it’s supposed to be to my house today. I’m checking the Pillpack app to look at tracking and see a new default address, not one that I put in. I call Pillpack and the 1st person says they already shipped and I’m out of luck. So I ask to speak with their manager. Manager says the RX hasn’t shipped and will reroute to my address.
Has anyone else had this happened with Pillpack changing shipping addresses?

2023.05.31 01:22 Ok_Expert_1330 Advice for handling cars on Lake Washington Blvd?
I commute daily on Lake Washington Boulevard northbound from Seward Park to the arboretum and have increasing anxiety about cars passing very close and/or fast. I typically ride what I consider a reasonable line, close to the curb but not in the gutter. Recently, I’ve had a few close calls of cars passing close on corners, passing when a car is coming the other direction, or buzzing close at high speed. This seems to be getting more pronounced as the weather is getting nicer.
I’m wondering if there are ways to reduce the anxiety of being hit from behind. Do I take more of the lane? Wear more obnoxious clothing? Get a mirror to see cars coming? Tape a speed limit sign to my back? Looking for any advice!

2023.05.31 01:22 Pryncess121 PSLF Forgiveness and Sweet Refund? 🤞🏾
So... I have been in a limbo state because of transfers and timing. This speaks to receiving PSLF forgiveness prior to Sweet settlement finalizing and wondering if I'll get a refund as I'm in the full class. I'm thinking (hoping) so with negative balances showing? Unsure but will continue to be patient. Long detailed history below for context lol. Just sharing because nobody had been able to tell me anything other than Mohela saying "if you get PSLF forgiveness you won't get a refund." -I went to Argosy University, applied for BD in January 2022. I am considered full class in the Sweet Settlement. -I attended school 2006-2009. Loans originally with AidVantage I believe, then consolidated and transferred to Sallie Mae/Navient. Once I started working in nonprofit, I started PSLF program and loans transferred to Fed Loan. - I've been keeping up with PSLF certifications over the years. I got notice about the PSLF waivers, and my payment counts last year were updated from 26 to about 78. I expected PSLF forgiveness to come within the next few years. -Last summer got notice about transfer to Mohela, and I had submitted new PSLF forms that were still processing. They transferred over to Mohela as processing along with my loan balances around Sept 2022. -January 4, 2023 I logged into Mohela to check status of my forms and saw a $0 balance. Also had a $0 balance onSl Student Aid but no notice. Finally talked with Mohela who verified I was considered PSLF direct to discharge and my loans were forgiven. They generated a letter for me and uploaded to my portal. They said my PSLF was granted in November 2022 but it was taking up to 90 days to notify borrowers. -Sweet settlement finalized January 28, 2023. No change since then on Student Aid or Mohela. I updated my AidVantage account login and contact info just in case anything there changed. -I got a random email from AidVantage this morning (5/30/2023) that looked like an automated email about payment pause and forbearance. Which didn't make sense because I have no loans. I then logged in to look at my account. All had zero balances which was expected, but then I clicked loan details to expand and the negative balances appeared. submitted by Pryncess121 to BorrowerDefense [link] [comments]
