Hello :) I’m trying to conceptually understand factors that contribute to an error message that means low voltage. I’m providing details but if other factors need to be added, pls lmk.
I am working with a power system I installed in my van. The input is 400watts of solar panels through a 40amp charge controller into 300aH lithium phosphate battery bank. There are positive and negative bus bars to an inverter for AC and a fuse block for DC.
The appliance in question is my fridge. It has a DC outlet cord and an AC outlet cord. When I use the DC outlet cord, it works during the day. The screen will read between 12-14v and temperature stays in my target range. However, later in the day this voltage drops into the 9-11v range and will read F1 which the manual says is low voltage. When I use the AC outlet cord, there is no issue so far.
Can you help me understand factors that would contribute to intermittent low voltage? I’m not sure if time of day / solar input is relevant. We are getting a lot of sun and the battery level is always over 70%. The fridge is the only load on its circuit. It has a 10a fuse that is not blown. i used 14awg wire with ring terminals to the fuse block and plug terminals to the dc outlet.
TIA! I really appreciate any leads on things to research bc most important to me is understanding a gap or vulnerability in my setup. The fridge works on AC but my brain wants to know why not DC?

So I guess I'm sorta doxxing myself to Staples but idc. I previously worked at this same location, did decent numbers(except for liquid armor), and put in a 2 week notice and even though the job I went to was paying me around 50% more and giving me more hours. I got an interview a week ago, it went well, and I asked for $13 an hour. I was told "I don't know if I can get you that but we'll see".
Well a few days later I start getting emails for background check stuff and hiring info. No one ever called me and said "you got the job, we will pay you X". I sorta assumed they would be close to $13 if they went through the hassle of a new hire/background check paperwork.
So I get a call from an assistant manager this morning asking if I want to come in for orientation. I said that's fine but nobody told me my pay. She asked me if I wanted to talk to the GM. The GM offered me $9.30 for the first 90 DAYS and the $11 if I did well after that. I declined and questioned the ability to hire ANYONE at that rate. He agreed and said it is hard to get new hires, but once the 90 days is up, the "floodgates open" ($11 an hour lol that's $4 less than Target).
This is a job which requires regular retail duties as well as selling bs plans to elderly folks who don't know any better, and they expected me to degrade myself for less than $10 an hour? After I was a faithful soldier to them for almost 3 years and gave them a fucking notice even though when I left it was a living hell?
This company is obviously worse than it was in the liquid armor days. Thank God he didn't offer me $11 off top, I probably woulda taken it initially and then hated it just as bad as I did before.
This is how much they value their experienced employees that require minimal training. Like holy shit I musta dodged a huge bullet.

Hi all Female 30, 170cm, starting wait 77.4kg. I started my keto, omad & exercise journey about 4/5 days ago. I do want to lose quite abit quickly so I am eating quite a big deficit. I am currently at 75.5kg so just under 2kg lost so far (I know, mostly water!). Exercise wise I am easing my way up, so getting my target as atleast 5k steps in a day, only doing walking for now until I have more energy. Anyone else new to the journey? How are you feeling? Today is the first day I’ve felt “keto flu”, hoping this passes soon. I hope to add in IF when I’m ready to, and drop the Diet Coke and stevia/cream in coffee, but otherwise I am only doing one meal per day so other then a small amount of cream in a couple of coffees first thing, I am not eating any calories until 5/6pm. I’ve bought a tape measure as I know from past experience the “stall” will come a few weeks in. I don’t plan on treating keto / low carb as just a “diet”, but intend to keep carbs low as possible once I am at a weight I am happy with (which is around 60kg). Hope you are all doing good!

I recently finished my masters and moved back to my family’s farm to try and save up for a down payment on a home. I work remote, so I figured it would be a great way to save money. I’ve been here for over 5 months and the last time I lived at home was 10 years ago.
I figured I’d be here 1.5 years at most if I only put a little away at a time. However, my car died 2 months after I moved so now I need to purchase another. The problem is I haven’t been able to find one, and it’s going to almost put me back at square 1 when it comes to my savings.
I’m wondering if I should just give up and go back to renting as soon as I have a car. My friends are back in the major city I left which is over 4 hours away from here. My siblings (I’m the oldest) are married and moved out leaving just me and my parents. As much as I love my family, our differences in opinion are starting to weigh on me. I think I’ve been away from the farm too long to feel comfortable living out here.
It just sucks because I so desperately want my own home instead of a rental. I just want my own space that I can decorate and invite people in to. I want to be as hospitable as my family and so many friends have been toward me. Instead, I’m a walking millennial stereotype who can’t afford such a luxury because even a condo is $100k on a good day.
If you’ve read this far, thanks for taking the time. I’ll figure it out somehow, I’m sure, and I’m thankful for the roof I currently have over my head. I’m just tired of working hard only to realize it didn’t lead anywhere.

Hi there! (TW: TALK OF SH/SUICIDE)
I'm going to preface this post with: I know basically nothing about the legal system, and this is just something that has been bugging me for a while and I want to see if there is anything I can do.
So in April 2022 my fiancé and I moved to Windsor, ON so I could start at St. Clair College. I passed first semester, and in between 1st and 2nd semester I called the Dr that my fiancé had been going to to get on his roster since I had been "seeing" (mostly phone calls) my Dr In Woodstock up until then. I had an appointment with this new Dr in the beginning of January 2023 at some point. At this appointment I gave him recent paperwork given to me by an assessment center saying I had ADHD and Autism and that they suggested the best course of action for my situation was to up the dose of a med I was already on that works for ADHD. I said all this to the Dr and (I thought) I made it very clear that I didn't want to switch meds, just up the one I was on. At this first appointment with him he switched me off of the 2 meds I was on, onto 3 other meds, one being Concerta. When I got into the car I bawled. In the next couple of weeks I dealt with a poor attention span, was easily distracted, had mood swings and was having constant thoughts of SH/suicide. After about 2.5-3 weeks on these meds, I went back and told him about what was happening and he immediately took me off of them and tried to admit me (I ended up not being admitted because I am with my fiancé almost 24/7). He next tried to prescribe me sleeping pills, despite the fact that I told him I had been sleeping up to 14-16 hours a day. Because of all of this I ended up dropping out of the program I was in at St. Clair, because on the new meds I couldn't concentrate enough to study, and the same was to be said off my meds. I failed every test/quiz up until that point, and had I tried to go back from that I probably would have damaged my mental health severely. In the end, he put me back on my old meds but I didn't get back on them until April 2023, so I would have been f'd even if I had stayed in the program.
Anyway, I guess I am asking- can I do anything about this? My fiancé says I can't, but I wanted another opinion. I saw him for 2 appointments alone and since then my fiancé has been going in with me because he seems to listen to him better than he listens to me. All together I have had -maybe- 6 times.

Male, Age 32, 180 cm, 110 kg, BMI 34 here.
I started a 4-week diet 7 days ago. Basically, I can eat 1000 calories a day. 75 grams of carbs, 100 grams of protein, 33 grams of fat. Once these weeks are over with, I plan to increase my intake by 80% to 1800 calories, with the same macro split, and stay there until I reach my target weight which is 90 kg. And then adjust as necessary to maintain that weight.
I eat crispbread with fish/lean meat and some vegetables for breakfast. Crispbread and livelean meat for lunch. Chicken, egg whites, broccoli and other low-calorie vegetables for dinner. Cottage cheese and a fruit in the evening. I also take vitamins and omega-3 to avoid deficiency of anything. I also drink a lot of water because I have read that is especially important when on extreme diets.
I exercise three times a week. Two full body workouts with a 20 min warm-up with walking 6 km/h in 6% elevation, 8x4 benchpress with about 90 kg, 8x4 squats with about 100 kg, and 4 x max hang ups (usually 5-6 reps on first set and 3 on final set). And then I go for one 2 h walk a week. I have been doing this for about a year and a half. It hasnt made me lose any weight, which is a bit disappointing, but I am in much better shape (stronger and more stamina) and my body composition must surely have changed. I want to lose weight though, and I hope this 4 week diet can make me lose about 10 kg, and that my plan for the time after can make me lose the remaining over 4-5 months.
So far the diet is going well. However, some people have expressed concern telling me it is too little, especially considering I work out. They say I will lose a lot of muscle. They also say that I will bounce back right after the diet is done. What do you guys think? Any experiences?
I am sick and tired of not feeling like myself. I used to be in very good shape at 90 kg before covid, but put on 20 kg through lockdown due to a lot of unhealthy food and being inactive. I feel like I need to do something drastic now to not lose motivation, which is why I wanted to go for this diet. I am still motivated for it as I think dropping 10 kg quickly could give me even more motivation for sustained change. However, I am now having second thoughts not because I am struggling, but because people tell me it is not a good way to go about weight loss. Would appreciate your insights!

I just don’t get it!
Why so many shelves and random decor? The amount of dusting you’ll have to do seems like unnecessary added stress.
Also, why do people aesthetically arrange their drawers? You’re going to pull things out left and right and just toss them back in, so you’ll have to reorganize every couple days.

Our lease contract ends in four days but we've already moved our belongings out and informed our managing agent that we'd be doing so. We told them we'd be paying for an end of tenancy clean from their recommended provider on 1 June. They asked my partner on the phone if they could send a decorator in to "take a look" on Saturday and we agreed verbally.
We happened to go to the property today to tie up lose ends and they've got decorators in already, repainting the entire interior. The house is uninhabitable right now, to say the least. We were neither informed nor did we consent to this.
The work looks midway done and though they have covered most of the floors, there were gloves/tools laying around on the bare floor. They also used some of my remaining belongings as a prop for their paint cans.
It seems to us the agent is in breach of contact, and that it'd be impossible to do a fair and accurate checkout report. We'd like to end the tenancy immediately, so we're not paying to clean up extensive renovation works nor for the energy supply being used (they have tools plugged in to the mains throughout the house).
My questions are, what are our rights in terms of them effectively taking over the property without our consent before the end of our lease? Would we still be on the hook for returning the property cleaned to the same standard as when we moved in, in terms of the deposit? Would a checkout be invalid in these circumstances? How can we protect ourselves at this point?

Took a day and a half trip to Sacramento! Easy two hour drive from the Peninsula. I'm not from Sacramento though I used to visit a lot, apologies for any mistakes or wrong opinions.

• California Railroad Museum: Lives up to the hype. Great museum, with immersive ceiling to floor exhibits, interesting info, and, of course, TRAINS! It's very California/History specific and more about the impact of trains on CA history than about how trains work specifically, but there's a bit of that. Beware: The one train that has sleeper rooms rocks back and forth to simulate the train moving. My wife got seasick from it. (I loved it!) Also, don't forget to visit the the fourth floor.
• Old Sacramento State Historic Park: You really need a guided tour or watch some history videos on YouTube to get the most out of this place. There's a lot of cool facts but you will need to find it yourself or through a tour. This old PBS show has a decent overview: https://youtu.be/Bd4PM8UV5Hw
• Fanny Ann's Saloon: Came here for the "ambiance" over lunch. I could see this place being rocking at night for the bar crowd, but for lunch it's just a funky place with "meh" food. There are pinball and arcade machines and decent amounts of seating.
• Top Hand Ranch Horse Carriage Rides: Since the temperature was moderate and the horses seemed happy, we took a $20, 15 minute ride around Old Town. My kids loved it. It was super calm and uneventful but fun to be so close to people walking around. The ride was a little bouncy even on the paved streets, hard to imagine riding faster on dirt roads.
• Old Town: Pretty touristy. But some of them are really nice tourist traps! Shout outs to Evangeline's Costume for having funky "gifts" and being fairly reasonably priced. Cerealism was kind of funky and not bad (food themed around cereal) and Blueprint Coffee was a nice sleek modern coffee shop. Did not love Boxcar for froyo, overpriced, could have gone for better ice cream but kids wanted it now! Ferris wheel is worth it for the views of Tower Bridge and Old Town, though it goes really fast (speed wise.)
• DOCO: "Newer" style shopping district near the Sacramento King's stadium (some concert was there too). Mostly focused around eating with some light shopping. Made the mistake of walking past DOCO up K street towards the Capital and... it's a ghost town. A drunk guy called us a racial slur and accused us of smelling like vomit. Then a random guy was sitting there swinging a claw hammer around and we decide to go over to Capital Mall where it felt safer.
• State Capital: Very nice, beautiful place, nice architecture. Make sure to check out the "back" where there's a park and war memorial. Sadly, museum and main building were closed by the time we got there.
• Frank Fat's: This place is an institution and we had to try it. The décor is something else and the back booths are very private. The bar and front room, less so, we were practically sitting in the laps of the table next to us. The food is NOT TRADITIONAL CHINESE FOOD. You don't go for that: You go for the California/Chinese historic fusion of food. It's pretty interesting to see how Chinese food would have evolved over time as it intermingled with American palettes and ingredients (and older school cooking methods.) Make reservations in advance, they were turning people away who didn't have reservations. I enjoyed it.
• Sutter's Fort: Pretty small, but really gives you an idea of what living permanently in California would have been like (assuming you weren't Native American) before the gold rush. Sadly, the Donner Party Doll was not viewable as it's deteriorating fast and needs to be restored and taken off display. Each room is decorated to look like it might have during that historic period. There's a bunch of written information and a little hand out with each room labeled. The park rangers are very engaged as well, so feel free to ask questions.
• Sacramento County Fair: A pretty typical CA county fair, dominated by carnival out front. Nice they have a kid specific building and they have more demonstrations than my county fair (like racing ducks, racing pigs, or frisbee dogs, and horse and rider costume events.) Pretty low key like many CA county fairs that aren't in Southern CA. I loved the Demolition Derby where cars smash each other until they can't drive. Overall, I'd say the Sacramento County Fair is better than most Northern California County fairs out of the handful I've been to, but doesn't quite stand up to OC or LA County Fair. I wish I could have seen the Rodeo, but our schedule didn't work out.
• Yang Kee Dumpling (Davis, not Sacramento): Very good Chinese dumplings. The skin of the dumplings is a little thick, but everything tastes very good. Gets crowded on weekends, join the Yelp Waitlist. It's kind of a back building to the Safeway parking lot so it's a little odd to find.

Overall, a good 1.5 day getaway to Sacramento. Still a lot we didn't see (Crocker, Stanford, State Indian Museum, etc.) And last time we were here, we went to Locke with the kids, which is a blast if you're into Chinese in CA history.

With the hum of the cars’ engines tapering off, everything turned quiet, far too quiet. The only sound bar my own breathing was the wind making its way through cracks in the building’s metal shell. Gunfire should’ve been raining down on us by now. The building in front of was at least the size of a football field and going by the faint, but disgusting, smell of the poor victims, the place was packed. There was no way only the about two dozen scalies we eliminated worked here.
Where was the fight? Were all of them hiding inside? We couldn’t have gotten all of them before, right? Well, there’s only one way to find out where the fuckers were hiding.
Richards lined us up next to the large pair of doors separating us from the farm and a soldier from another squad grabbed a handheld battering ram. I doubted the door would hold after just a few hits with a rock but speed was of the essence. The faster we cleared out the arxur infestation, the more people would survive. I wasn’t about to let anyone else die in that hell. My grip around my rifle tightened and time almost seemed to slow down when the first hit was winded up.
We were quietly signaled to step back from the door and with just one hit with the battering ram the lock was separated from the rest of the door. The force from the hit slammed the door open and we promptly stormed in through the opening. But no gunfire met us. The inside was just as deserted as the outside had been. We had entered what seemed to be some kind of warehouse, large crates strewn throughout the floor and deep freezers lining the walls. At that moment I desperately wished I was a mouth breather. The stench, that had previously been contained by the sheet metal walls, was now flooding into my nostrils. Manure, unwashed bodies, and rotten meat. I tried my best to focus on anything but the freezers but every single wall was covered with them. Wherever my eyes darted, more proof of the murders appeared. A dried splotch of blood, some tufts of fur, a bloody machete.
They took pride in it. Pride in this… They’re going to pay.
We crept through the wide open space, making our way from cover to cover. The dirt floor muffled any sound our footsteps would’ve made and we were only exposed for brief moments. If any arxur caught us, we wouldn’t be caught like a deer in headlights. After one of our many rushes between covers, I ended up next to one of the many freezers.
Oh god. My poor nostrils.
The smell had grown even stronger and when I glanced at the freezer I quickly realized why. It seemed to have lost power, going by the fact that it wasn't cold, and that the lid was ajar. The remains of a person, a person who had friends and family, were rotting away inside. My knuckles were turning white from how hard I gripped my rifle and my teeth felt like they were going to crack due to my jaw clenching so hard. I was going to repay them in kind. Those motherfuckers, wherever they were.
When I stood up, en route to the next cover, my eyes caught a glimpse of the inside of the freezer. Pieces of mangled body parts filled the bottom of the box and a swarm of insects swarmed around something in the middle and-

Parts of yesterday’s meal filled my mouth when I realized what was hiding under the swarm. A severed venlil head with empty eye sockets stared back at me. Blood had dripped down from the sockets, painting long streaks of orange in the white fur. The head’s mouth was locked in an expression of terror and pain and the neck looked like it had been ripped off from the venlil’s body. Part of the spine hung limp beneath the neck and, knowing arxur, I doubted the venlil had been dead during the ripping.
As soon as I found out where they were- Where the hell were the arxur?
Realization suddenly flashed through my mind. Of course those cowards had fled. Fled their just punishment that I had sworn to deliver. My grip around my rifle tightened when I thought about the fuckers running this farm. They’d almost certainly escape justice, and there was in all likelihood nothing I could do about it. If only I could convince Olivia to hunt them down like they deserved.
My train of thought was brought to an abrupt end when we reached the other side of the warehouse. The door on this wall was far smaller, clearly just used by personnel. And it didn’t even have a lock. Maybe they decided to take cover behind this smaller choke point. I immediately squashed the idea in my mind as soon as I thought of it. They weren’t disciplined enough to not rush us with nothing but their natural weaponry.
My theory was quickly being proven true when we rushed into the next room. There wasn’t a single arxur in sight, but the sheer amount of victims more than made up for their absence. We had emerged on some kind of raised walkways, overlooking cramped pits filled with aliens sleeping in the most abhorrent conditions. The air reeked of unwashed bodies, feces, and many other disgusting smells I didn’t even recognize. The victims in the pits looked even worse for wear than the rest of this dilapidated building. Several of the harchen in the closest pit were covered in deep gashes and some even missed entire body parts.
Torture, there was no other explanation. Those fucking crocs.
As I looked around at the other pens, it was quickly made evident that the treatment of the harchen was more of a rule than an exception. Over in another pit, several krakotl had been completely plucked, and what I assumed to be words had been branded onto their backs. Despite my deep hatred for most of their governments, I couldn’t find it in myself to be mad at anyone here. They’d more than likely been captured long before they even knew earth was still inhabitable and even if they weren’t, they still didn’t deserve this torture.
This was so much worse than I thought. Of course it would be horrible but this, how-
Nausea quickly filled my thoughts and before I could even bend over, today's lunch spilled out of my mouth, and I wasn’t alone. At least a third of my fellow soldiers had the same reaction as me.
Good to know I’m not the only empathetic person here. Maybe they’ll agree that the arxur deserve to be treated like their prey after this. Oh, what I would do if I caught any of them.
“HELP!”
The krakotl’s hoarse scream sent a shiver down my spine. It sounded like they hadn’t used their voice for years. I hastily pulled up my bandana and checked that my visor blocked my entire face. I didn’t dare think about what would happen if they realized we were predators.
“P- P- Please help us…”
The screaming had quickly woken up the rest of the aliens who were looking at us with a mix of bewilderment, fear and hope. My eyes darted around the pens while my mind prayed that they wouldn’t land on anyone that recognized our ‘arboreal’ eyes. After what felt like the longest five seconds of my life, I finally allowed myself to breathe a sigh of relief. If no one had fainted yet, they probably didn’t know we were human.
“We’ve come to rescue you, you’re going to get out of here. Just stay calm.”
Richards immediately took command of the situation, preventing widespread panic from the aliens.
“T- T- Thank you… Is the f- f- federation winning?”
The brave krakotl who asked us for help clearly thought we were from the federation and I silently thanked god everyone else seemed to believe the same thing. If they didn’t there would be pandemonium. Those poor souls must’ve seen arxur bloodshed every single day. I could barely imagine how terrified they would be if our identity was revealed. In their eyes we would be nothing but another species of predators and this was the worst possible place to try convincing them we weren’t.
“We’re just going to make sure there are no arxur left in the building, then we’re getting you out of there. We’ll be back before you know it.”
Avoiding the question. I really hoped Richards didn’t tip off the aliens about us there. At least she didn’t deny that we were from the feds. As long as we got out of there as quickly as possible, everything would be fine.
“I- I- saw them leaving. They were a- a- angry, and before they l- l- left they- they…”
The krakotl lifted their wing and shakily pointed towards a dark corner of the room as their voice faltered. Some kind of poles with clumps in the middle filled the corner but any more detail was masked under the veil of darkness. Carefully avoiding looking at the flickering lamps filling the building with light, I turned on my night vision goggles and as soon as my brain registered what it was seeing, I wished that I had been born blind. The poles were wooden stakes and the clumps were the mutilated corpses of a dozen aliens. Deep gashes stretched across their abdomen and their intestines were pouring out of the holes. Not even their heads were spared. They were nigh unrecognizable from blunt force trauma and one of the victims still had the hammer buried in their face. Disgust and rage flared up within me, almost stronger than I’d ever felt before. I wanted to vomit and chop arxur into small pieces at the same time.
Why do they fucking exist? Why the fuck do I have to fucking see this. How can someone… do something like this? And why did we let them escape? Wait, the faster I clear this building, the faster we can hunt them down.
“You’re safe now, we’re getting you off this planet. Squad, we’re make sure there are no arxur left on the premises.”
Sergeant Richards’ command immediately pushed me to act. While about half our our force moved to clear out the rest of the building, my squad rushed for the back door at the other end of the cattle pens. We quickly made our way outside into a large yard, the dirt ground stretching several dozen meters from the building before slowly morphing into a field. In the distance, several large piles of timber were piled high next to a large, deforested area. The only feasible place for the arxur to hide on this side of the compound was the shack that stood at the edge of the yard. In contrast to the concentration camp, this building actually looked relatively structurally sound. They hadn’t left. Those fuckers just laid in ambush, waiting for me to let my guard down. Its hideous body sat on one of the bedrolls, radiating bloodlust. I could feel its eyes bore deep into my soul, sending an involuntary shudder down my spine. Every single part of it was tailor made to kill, and nothing else. It could easily rip off my limbs with its massive claws, and then chop them into tiny pieces with its razor sharp teeth if I was careless.
Can’t be careless then. That fucker isn’t going to walk out of here alive. If I’m going down, it’s going down with me.
I instinctively threw myself to the ground, raising my rifle to take out my target. My rifle was aimed directly at the unarmed creature’s head, through the chain-link fence sectioning off the arxur from me. Just before I pulled the trigger, my brain connected the contradictory information, stopping me from firing from sheer bewilderment.
Why the fuck did that thing not have a weapon? And why were they in some kind of improvised prison?
“Hey! Oscar, the door’s locked. What’s your status?”
David’s voice and a loud banging on the door I just passed through snapped me back to reality. I was locked away from my squad in a room full of arxur. The same species that fucking impailed a dozen people out there. And here they were, right in front of me, behind a chain-link fence. Red flashed before my eyes as I realized what was happening.
They were trying to fool us. And those morons thought I wouldn't notice. They put up that barbed wire, trying to exploit our empathy. We’d try to imprison them, and then they’d strike. And they would have succeeded, had I not been alone.
I slowly stood back up, and shuffled backwards until I stood flush against some kind of railing. The multiple arxur that were hiding behind the chain-link looked at me with unreadable expressions but I could noticeably see their eyes widen as I raised my rifle.
Finally realizing the jig is up? They were going to pay for for the people they fucking impailed, for the venlil whose head they fucking ripped of, and for the fucking cradle.
All I had to do was tell the white lie that they attacked me and open fire. Then my squad wouldn’t be murdered and justice would finally be served. The arxur remained quiet as mice as I prepared to enact justice, probably in shock from their stupid ploy being seen through. I was eternally thankful that they were so stupid. The anger that had filled my entire system slowly melted away, being replaced by satisfaction at their imminent demise. Right as I was about to press down on the trigger one of the arxur began speaking but as I looked for the culprit I saw that all their mouths were shut. The voice was high pitched, almost childlike, and it echoed from… below.

Is Oscar being a bit delusional? Should he analyze the situation a bit more objectively? Possibly, but where's the fun in having completely sane characters.
Anyways, the two protagonists are about to meet. Will said meeting remain entirely civil or will Oscar "accidentally" drop a grenade into the pit? We'll find out next time.

Idk where I am heading to . I am lost , I just hope I could make something out of my life . Every other person has some goals or targets here , I don’t have any purpose in life, it’s like I am wasting my life . When I see people with blueprints of their life and openly discussing it with each other I just feel left out because I haven’t decided anything and I am fuckin scared but I still wake up everyday trying to understand everything and purpose of everything . Everyday I wake up to prepare for entrance exam and I don’t even know if I even passed the exam would it change my life for good or make it worse. Am I following my parents blindly to get their validation or attention? I haven’t figured out anything till now - where ever I am now it’s a hell hole. My life is now limited to my room wake up- study-eat-binge watch-sleep. And this time table has made me sick. I wanna live a real life , meet some people , discuss things, have a convo with them . Almost 5 days a week I don’t have anyone to talk to and other 2 days ( weekends ) my elder brother doesn’t talk to me much . And my parents makes it worse , they don’t let me go out much not even for 10 mins and my exams are near and the idea of me not getting accepted in college makes me precipitate and the face of disappointment my father would have on that day makes me wanna kms. I am dying inside but the small hope that everything would turn out great is making me alive.

This is simply my modest opinion, without having any of the analytical or financial data that EHG has. I hope it triggers an interesting discussion here in Reddit.
As a big LE fan it would be great be able to play the full game as early as end of 2023, but there are some nasty stormy clouds on the horizon and we simply cannot ignore them.

Plague of bugs

The single most serious issue that LE is facing isn't any external risk, but the state in which the game is right now (and has been since 0.9 Multiplayer patch). Everywhere you look there are bugs. So so many bugs that patches which fix 2-3 major + 5-6 minor bugs barely make any difference. It simply is too much that doesn't work.
Even worst is that those bugs are not only found in "fresh and new" features. The situation is so bad that features are straight up removed from the game now, because they function so bad on Patch Release that they break the game. I don’t currently play LE (you can already guess why) but when I tried it one day after 0.9.1 there were no other people in towns, no linking of items in chat and the Leaderboard is still with "coming soon" status today - https://lastepoch.com/ladder . "The game is Early Access" is quite a strong argument, but come on... No body plans to hype about new features coming in patch X just to exercise yet another "crisis management" hours after the patch went out. As far as I know everything we got - the new chapter 1, the new unique items, the MTX shop, the "remove corruption" feature and so on - had bugs in it, many of them serious ones.
So how on Earth do we expect the new classes + the missing chapters + expanded or reworked endgame + ALL THE BUGS FIXED ? in the next 4-5 months?
It is simply impossible for EHG, when judging by what their team manages to do right now with the resources they have. The game is getting better. The ideas they implement are still fantastic. This studio is still the only ARPG studio (in my eyes at least) that truly listens to its audience and makes a game for gamers, not shareholders. Wonderful, but it LE releases this year one of two things will happen:
A) It will be a worst bug-fest than Wolcen in 2020, so much so that even people like me will give up on it until it is fixed some 5-6 months later. Or...
B) It will release kind of polished but without the content we all are waiting for. Same old monoliths with minor tweaks, maybe one more dungeon... + the new classes to do the same old content again. Will this be enough to hold the long term players for more that 2-3 weeks before going back to Diablo 4 or Poe 2 ? Which brings me to my next point:

2023 kind of doesn't feel like LE's year

Like it or not, it is the year of Diablo 4 + PoE2 (eventually). The last months of 2023 will be packed with fresh content from LE's giant competitors - first Diablo 4 season, PoE 2 beta + release maybe. Honestly, unless LE exceeds all expectations and delivers tons of content bug free, who will choose LE over that?
And yes, we in Reddit always say that very few of us play only 1 game. Few are those who are strictly PoE players, or only Diablo 4 players. We jump like little bees from ARPG to ARPG all the time. However, Diablo 4 and PoE 2 and way waaaaay too big of releases to somehow find 100-200 hours to put in LE in exactly those months.
How I see it early 2024 is much better release time for LE. Many hardcore ARPG players will try Diablo 4 for 1-2 seasons and will switch to something more complex, since in the end Diablo 4 is targeting broad audience of casual players. And most importantly - more time to test properly and not release the new content with tons of game breaking bugs. But releasing LE only 1 month before or after PoE2 and first season of D4 is too much for LE to handle.
Ultimately we will see what happens. We - random dudes and girls in Reddit, don't have all the insights, competence and experience that EHG have. All I want is for my favorite ARPG to release in a good time with a good polished content so that tens of thousand players can enjoy it. EHG deserves it, after all the good work in the last 5 or so years.

Impersonator - This is a coven role, they have no attack and no defence. On exactly 1 night they get to select a town member to try and impersonate. They can only impersonate town roles. If they successfully impersonate their target, they swich to the role of their target with the only difference being they win with coven, not town. Cannot impersonate town power roles. Should they die, they will always show up as impersonator, even if they had a role they were actively impersonating.
Cult Leader - This is a nuetral role, no attack or defence, every other day starting at day 2 they can convert a player into their cult. When a player in converted, they keep their role with the only difference being they work for the cult and not their original team. Should a coven be converted, the other coven will not be notified but they also can no longer see eachother's chats at night. The cult had a maximum of 4 players including the leader, and after it is full the leader gains basic defence can do nothing else. If a cult member dies after the cult was already full, the cult leader loses their defence and can convert again. When a cult member dies it will pop up with the color indicating they were in the cult. Should the cult leader die at any point, every single convert no matter the role will immedietly follow.
