I'm not sure how I turned it on (or how I can turn it off). Really strange feature. I don't have sticky keys, toggle keys, or anything like that on. Has anyone else had this problem?

It was fine at first. I clicked on Youtube but it didn't open/load, but that happens sometimes so it's OK.
But then it won't let me go back to the home menu. I click the button on the Joy-Con and nothing works.
I push the power button to try and turn the Switch off, that works.
THEN- It won't turn back on. But it's acting like it's still turned on.
The Joy-Cons are still green at the sides, showing they're connected to something. But my Switch screen is just black. It won't turn on, the power button doesn't do anything.
Can anyone help me figure this out, or am I going to have to bring it in for repairs?

Status drives our motivation as men, and is without a doubt the most powerful point of attraction for women. However, a guy who doesn’t make a lot of money can still have status.

Status is built off excellence, competency and leadership. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a church group, a corporate setting, in a social activity. That's why you should always try to put yourself in a position of leadership, no matter how small. If others rely on you, and you show you are trustworthy, you will put yourself in a high level of status.
Another indicator of status is how you present yourself and interact with others. Looks are a form of status. If you are in shape, well groomed, care about what you wear, it demonstrates that you are disciplined. It doesn’t mean you have to walk around in a suit or buy designer clothes.
But you have to take care of your health and personal appearance. It is the most immediate and recognizable form of status It’s also in your body language.
High status body language is slow, deliberate, and takes up space. Slow, natural body language is indicative of someone who is used to a variety of social situations, and doesn't get flustered
And finally, having a personal code of ethics and boundaries is an essential part of status. Men of status have a defined sense of what’s important to them and what they’re not willing to compromise.
They have a purpose, and expectations of how they treat others, and how others will treat them.
And sometimes this is easier said than done. A lot of guys will throw these principals out the door for a beautiful woman. But men of status don’t compromise themselves to impress others. A woman’s attraction goes up when a man has clearly defined, respectful boundaries.

Here we are again. Staring at the beginning. Everything is in chaos and yet it manages to keep on passing by just the same as always. Most people by now are aware that things just don’t seem to make sense anymore and no one really knows what to do. I mean many seem to have an opinion on what ought to happen, but actual action is what I am talking about. How does thought turn into action? How do collected actions become a movement? How do the People use the Power of the People? The People Unite. How? Turn to each other of course. Brothers and Sisters of the same Source. Sons and Daughters. In Equality.
Too long has everyone been waiting for someone else to come do it for them. Been trying to create and fabricate over and over again words and rituals to try to control the divine powers of the cosmos. It does not work like that. There is no magic spell to wash away your sins. You must atone through action to make up for any harm you have caused intentionally or unintentionally. You still have time to repent. The amount of time you have is counted in the seconds of your life. Not a single second is promised to you so the gamble is up to you to choose. Freewill. Life your life as you always have or make changes, up to you. Only you will know if you are living righteously and not self righteously. Testing has already begun and will continue. No you will not know when it is a test or not. That is the point. Did you think that I would come to you in a form where you would be all fearing? Oh no. Why? Because you would simply put on an act for me and kiss ass. I came hidden in the ordinary. Poor and common. I have had an inside view of the systems created and how humans have chosen to run things, how systems claiming to protect people have failed and how the system that talks good does not actually do good. I see where things are not working and where people think they can make decisions for other human beings to determine what is best for them without asking them. That is not okay. Nothing gives you right over another’s life. And so many forgot what integrity is. Doing the right thing when no one is looking. Well, so many thought their power here was real and man made a deal with the Devil, Satan, Son of Samuel, Son of Man, to make man the concept of “God” and tried to lock me away. I gave up everything to prove it is not easy to be me and to stop with self pity and cruelty to one another.
The human body. It is a vessel for your soul to experience this world. The body provides the filters necessary to perceive and interact with this world. There is much more happening and one would be overwhelmed by the amounts of information to process without these filters. To feel and in those feelings are to make each experience real. However, it is temporary, as everything is temporary. We have slowed down time here in order to be able to enjoy the sensations. Time here however, is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. It is merely to track to organize one's day and to see growth to compare as time passes. However, the actual time folds upon itself as we have already done what we are doing many times over. We have already tried out everything and decided what path we wanted to take in our lives based upon what was available to us. Thus, we do not have more than we can handle. We have all chosen our burdens to bear as it is too much for one individual to hold alone which was done in the past. This is part of the sorting process. Now that we all share in the sins and the pains, no one is made to suffer eternal torment. This life was to allow those who were created into entities of pain or torment through no fault of their own to choose the life that matched the being of who they were as what they were different as time and space and everything developed. Righteousness and Evil are not synonymous to demons or angels as many would like to believe. This is a current misconception as Satan and I conclude who will be right in this experience you have all participated in. So far, I am proving to be right. Also to note, not everything is as you think it is. Many have figured out the true origin of Satan versus the man or human embodiment of or desire of A Satan to project evils onto to call a Religion and set up for personal importance. Q AZHow can you tell a false prophet? Easy. What is their profit? Get it? I know I’m funny. Also wanted to keep it easy. If they are making a profit on anything they are a false prophet. Any true prophet, and I have none so far, all live equally and the same as anyone else. No money is taken for personal gain. Nothing is for personal gain. There is no 888 Angel code for money. Money is Man-Made. Man traded Mother for Money. Hence, Mothers have been lost in the homes and no one is raising the children. Thus, there are so many children in adult bodies with no mothers in the home and women being made to feel guilty if they do not achieve the same as a man. Remember the phrase it takes a village? Well, the broken family system is a real sad loss here in man made world pushing everyone to be individual and self sufficient. Also so many with wanting attention and pursuing personal endeavors for personal gain and not helping anyone else in a real way. The journey is personal. Of course, you want to share what you experienced with others, but what worked for you will not work for them, stop trying to sell it. Stop trying to make people follow you for you to teach your divine wisdom you remembered. It isn’t about You. You don’t even have the full story, you have your story. And, yes you can be very close to me, very similar to me, in my image, but you can never BE me. Doesn’t work like that. Reflection. So when jealousy arises when you think I am who you think I am. That is part of your test and your journey. You wrestle with that feeling and atone and repent for that which has been done and that which still lingers now. Oh there is a place for everyone and I am quite tired of trying to warn people. Clearly you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.
Why do you not want it to be me so badly? Because I proved my love? You still think I am better than you or do I think I’m always right. No I do not think I am always right, I just know when I am right and I stand by it. There is a difference. You constantly overgeneralize. I gave up all the magic and thunder to live as a simple human and am still kind and loving? I still found my way back. Because you can no longer say I do not understand because I always get what I want? No. You do not understand. I never get what I want, because I make everything about you and still nothing was ever good enough. So, now...it in on you to save yourself and each other. In my image, by my example. Selflessness. Love. Compassion. Give to receive. Take only what you need and give the rest away. I find out so stop lying to yourself and everyone, you aren’t fooling anyone anyway. How do I know? By watching what you do. We have these same conversations over and over, the same argument over and over again. So many different ways, so many different times, through so many different people, so many different versions. Save you. Save Me. Say it for always.
Anyhow, Jesus challenges the Jewish priests who were taking collection money for personal use and adding personal baths to their residents at a time where the people only had a community bath where women and persons with disabilities were not allowed to bathe. And yet churches still do this after Jesus was crucified saying that, that was wrong. I am appalled. The Vatican is the biggest disappointment I have ever seen. It is truly the house of Satan as only Evil hides secrets. “THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.” A church cannot be a “House of God” and house no people who need housing. A roof can be offered to anyone and yet there are so many rules to prevent people from helping each other. Power and control. Abuse of both. Greed. It is out of hand and needs to be changed. Too many are afraid and the complacency of good people is too much. Why do you do this to yourselves? To each their own I suppose.
I will only leave here my words and my advice. As always, it is on you to find me. I’m right here. Waiting. Right here waiting for you. Helping those of you who want it when they cross my path. The purpose of this was to weigh your soul to determine where you will go into the next life as the system is balanced out in a final version so to speak. Permanent.
Fear not. You will be where your heart truly desires. But actions always speak louder than words. But man made money has no value, nor does any metals, jewels, and so on, so the collection of it in this life has no bearing on the next. Those are all made of the same stardust as you and I. And in the end of 3D it will all be diamonds anyways. Diamond is forever. There is no going back. So what are you hoarding? You cannot keep it. Who could you be helping for goodness sake? Don’t want to still. That is okay. Think I am just crazy. That is okay too. It is all part of the test...err..assessment. Do your best.

How to get the best recommendations:
The most successful recommendation requests include a description of the kind of book being sought. i’ve been playing for an embarrassing amount of time compared to my skill level and have recently discovered that i can’t play to a backing track or metronome, i can play without one and keep time but something about the beat throws me off. it’s like i go from playing with the beat to only playing on beat and idk how to help with this? it’s very frustrating practicing when i know how and what to do but my hands just lose all ability when you add a backing track or a metronome to the equation. if anyone has tips on how to get past this i’d be appreciative

This started about 1 month ago. I’m trying to think of any and all contributing factors. I do have some potential causes but none that truly make sense because I just don’t have enough information.
My dog just turned 2. He never had this issue before. Is this when allergies pop up?
He’s completely biting his feet to the point it’s bloody. All day he becomes obsessed with biting them and licking them. he has never done this last year or anytime this year up until beginning of May.
It just seems so weird it was like literally overnight this happened.
Anyway ‘medically’:

• Cytopoint
• apoquel again - unfortunately he becomes very, very restless and anxious when on apoquel it’s very noticeable with his behavior change. But I’m starting it again and carefully going to watch his behavior and see if it’s still manageable while also seeing if apoquel is effective.
• treating all lesions for secondary infections or prevention of infections. Includes topicals, medicated baths, etc.
• a cone to prevent further issues when necessary.
• he’s also being sedated nightly with gaba or traz because his behavior at night is a problem. He wakes up every hour or so to lick or bite and if he has a cone the behavior is much worse: he paces and whines because he hates the cone and can’t sleep and is extremely anxious and distressed, so he basically is sedated via pills every single night.
• daily anti histamine twice a day.
• skin supplements.

an appointment with my dog dermatologist isn’t available until dec which I’ve already scheduled
So I’ve already scheduled a blood serum allergy test(idexx) with my vet later in week. I know blood tests aren’t ideal but I’d rather do this now in the mean time if I can’t get in to see a dermatologist until winter. any reasons why I shouldn’t do this now??
my dog can’t keep living like this for months. All training classes have come to a halt, what was once a happy, energetic, engaging, trusting dog who went to weekly sport classes, came with me on my trips, allowed me to do all sorts of cooperative care things has basically turned into this itchy painful dog that’s now skeptical of me even approaching him to apply medication, who stays home all day (besides walks or the park etc).All my summer road trips have been cancelled. All my training classes are cancelled including the one I’m currently enrolled in that I’ve already paid for because he’s just too itchy to go and it’s too stressful for him to go and engage while also being itchy and painful (which I realized after trying to still go in the beginning).
All in the course of 1 month. I’m terrified of what’s going to happen in 2 months. In 3 months. How much of an effect this is going to have on my dog…. Why is this happening now suddenly?
Major changes/ things I noted: all symptoms started beginning of may

• switched to a RX diet in February. His stools are so firm and never had any GI upset so I’m unsure if it’s food allergy related?
  
• moved to a different house in April 16. So 3-3.5 weeks before this started happening.
  
• beginning of may: I gave him a bath but played with him outside in the dirt before giving him a bath? Shampoo is dermallay by dechra. First time using it, but he isn’t itchy anywhere else (back etc) except his paws.
  

I’m doing my best to manage symptoms which I’m barely barely able to do. I’m also desperately trying to figure out causes by seeing my vet NOW for a blood serum allergy test for the time being and get started on immunotherapy as soon as possible since it takes a long time to work - if it does.
I don’t know what else to do or consider or test. Does anyone have any ideas or things they’ve done to help figure out the root cause?
I feel like the medication used to keep his symptoms from worsening primarily apoquel, is a double edged sword that causes behavioral issues (I know this is rare, but I’m reporting what’s happening to my dog specifically) and I just need to pick which is more important.
What I’m going to do now: a mold kit test (since we just moved), HEPA air filter inside the home. I doubt this will help but I just want to do everything I can.

The inside of the grinder always has some caked it spices (cinnamon is a big offender) left it in which get modly over time. No matter how hard I scrub it, it won't come off without water. How are we to keep those electric grinders clean without water?

my husband 22M, disclosed to me 22F yesterday during a long road trip he finds the idea of me have sex with other men is a turn on for him.
I'm very monogamous, always have been. And I'm my husband's first in everything so he's also very monogamous, however I am open to the idea soley for the fact of how it would affect him during our "bedroom activities".
We have a very stable and solid relationship both emotionally and physically. We have a 18 month old, and a 3 year old (both F). We communicate very well and always have.
This came very out of the blue for me as my husband has always seemed VERY against anything like this. Although while listening to countless RSlash videos on YouTube (we listen to them as background noise while showering or driving) he realized the thought and idea has a VERY pronounced effect on him.
We decided to open the relationship one sided as he has absolutely no interest in having sex with anyone else.
Now onto the issue at hand, neither of us no how to go about this. We've decided to try a test run of sorts with a friend who we both know and trust, who's in a similar situation. We've set boundaries, rules, and an emergency plan just in case anything were to go wrong.
I'm looking for advice on how people may think this is either the right or wrong way to go about this. And any advice or tips on how to go about this situation entirely. Please be kind. Thank you in advance, I'll answer any and all questions in the comments.

Before the thought comes up: I've traveled a lot and seen numerous countries worldwide.
Where do I even start? The misery begins at the Lima airport, with all the taxi drivers that want to sell you random tours or tell you that your hotel&the area is unsafe. Inside of the airport.
The misery continues, unfriendly people, dogs*it everywhere, stupid- insanely stupid taxi and bus drivers that push the gas peddle& smash the brakes 2 seconds after, because oooh there is a car in front of me. And they love their honk, they honk so much, even if it doesn't make sense. A crossing in front of me? Let's honk. I successfully crossed the crossing? Let's honk. No cars nowhere, but people sure wanna know that I exist? Lets honk. On top of that you get car alarms going off every few minutes.
What else? Bad products/product quality, bad customer service, bad internet, people that treat you like a money bag...
How can you be proud of Peru and peruvian culture when it's a messy hellhole full of toxic men and corruption?

We have been dating just over a year, I’m 29, he’s 32. I have my own apartment, he lives with his parents… Still.
I was discussing him needing to move out, because not only is he older than me, and still lives with his parents, but it would be a good step in the right direction for our relationship.
I live in a studio apartment, so he wouldn’t move in with me, but I would never date someone that has never lived on their own .
I am a nurse, and I make more than he does, but he does make decent money as a security officer for a government contractor. He claims it’s because of student loans and car loans that he can’t move out, and his parents said he can stay in their house as long as he pays off his bills, which he is, but he’s making no effort to even try to move out,
I’m from Massachusetts, I moved here on my own away from home to follow my job that I got. Well, I’m paying my loans off, I still pay rent, my utilities, things like that, so I told him how I’m more independent than he is, so him and I started looking at apartments.
I told him he needs to live on his own, but he said because he’s trying to get a government clearance, he can’t go out and buy a house, or take any large financial changes or risks. I honestly think it’s just an excuse.
I told him he needs to stop being a mama’s boy, and move out and be an adult. He’s older than I am, and he still lives at home, which is honestly pathetic. He has no work ethic to move out.
I asked him why he has no drive to want to move out, and he said it was because of money, but he makes enough to where he can actually move out and still pay rent. But he says why pay rent, which is literally burning money, where you don’t own anything, instead of saving money, and buying something later that you can own? I think he’s just avoiding everything.
Which brings me back to the question of AITA, for telling him that he hast to stop being a mama’s boy and become more mature. His response is that his finances are none of my concern, and it’s not my right or privilege to lecture because my parents were not as lenient as his, but I still don’t find that as an excuse.

Hello everyone, I hope all is well. Last week we took a listen and closer look at one of the band’s most beloved songs. And this week, even though I have the feeling most people on here will hate it, we are going to be taking a closer look at one of the bands more hotly debated songs, “Coffee Girl”.
Now it’s no surprise that a good amount of fans had to adjust to the band’s two Bob Rock produced albums. World Container had some fantastically written songs so I feel like it had less hate, but We Are The Same is an album that often gets overlooked due to its overproduction and somewhat more basic songwriting. And one of the songs that has been criticized for both those things is the album’s 4th song, “Coffee Girl.”
Much like the rest of the album, the song has a more acoustic sound to it, but this time with a pop production to it. The song features a simple acoustic guitar progression from Paul that almost never changes throughout the song as Rob plays a pretty sparse guitar line over it. Johnny’s drumming is tight but far from his best work and Sinclair is not all that audible thanks to Bob Rock. So if you aren’t into contemporary rock/pop, this song isn’t for you.
And if you are thinking that Gord can save this song, well….about that. Vocally, this song is kinda odd for him because it was around this time period where he was doing more yelling/screaming, especially during live songs. And yet, this song is the complete opposite. He’s singing is extremely reserved to the point that some might think he sounds almost bored. His voice never raises above the volume in which it starts at the beginning of the song.
Lyrically, this song is the most straightforward that Gord has even been. He begins by singing about a girl begrudgingly waking up and walking to work where she is a barista at a coffee shop. He goes on to sing about how she prepares for the day by taking the chairs off the table and turning on the lights. Then we get the chorus which is pretty vague; “Hey there coffee girl, beautiful and disaffected It was perfect till, he came along and wrecked it.”
That last line of the chorus is so what disappointing because it sounds like something that would be sung in a throw away pop song. Like who is this “he?” Gord is not only extremely vague with these characters, we don’t hear this other character until the bridge of the song.
The second verse at least has some actually interesting lyrics. Gord sings about “outdated” mix tapes including Cat Power and “classic Beck.” Gord also uses the word “purveyors” which in the context of this simple song, seems sticks out. But that’s also “classic Gord.”
Arguably, the most interesting aspect of the song comes with a trumpet solo after the second chorus! It’s played by guest musician Derry Byrne and it’s actually quite lovely. It’s not over the top nor does it take away from the already subtle soundscapes of the song. It adds a lot to a somewhat empty song and it makes me question if the Hip should have actually had a permanent horn player in the band.
The last bits of lyrics we get before the song ends with a last chorus is also kinda confusing. Gord is singing about how this coffee protagonist is given an ultimatum from this guy that we know nothing about. This whole song basically has no stakes. Like, is there anything to this song other than “coffee girl?”
Now I’m not going to say that everything about this song is disappointing. The trumpet bit works well and does elevate the song. And I actually like Gord’s vocals on this song, it’s nice to hear a more gentle side of his voice.
That said, this song is very far from their best. The band does not have a lot to do in this song musically, the lyrics don’t say a whole lot and Paul doesn’t even get backing vocals on this song! I’m pretty sure Bob Rock just had Gord record his own backing vocals. It’s a song that seems to go in one ear and out the other. If this song was written by Matchbox Twenty, no one would bat an eye. But this is the Hip! They are more special than that.

When I was younger (around the time I went to elementary school) I was always very extroverted, social and never noticed any traits related to autism. I didn't know what it was at the time and I never noticed any autistic traits. I am now 16(F) and for the past 3 years, I've been struggling more with sensory issues.
I grew up in a very abusive household. I lived with my father, stepmother and a dog. My dad always yelled at me, made fun of me and told me to be "normal" because I was always very extroverted and loud. My dad has had several surgeries in his back. I don't know the exact details, but he has trouble sitting and standing still for a period of time without experiencing a lot of pain in his back. Because of that, he always lays in bed in his room. I was never allowed to enter. Because of that, I had a severe lack of attention. Something that every child needs growing up. I started being really bothered by this around the age of 10. My dad would often make fun of me for being chubby, he would yell at me for every small mistake I made and he would blame me for everything that went wrong, even if he was at fault, because "I'm always right" he says. I have a half-brother and half-sister who both live with their mother, so I barely got to see them. They are both like at least 10 years older than me, so they could come over with their mom's car to visit my father, and whenever they did, I always felt like I could express myself to them, but not to my father. I always wanted to hang out with my brother, as he was very protective over me and very worried, since he knew my situation.
Eventually (around age 12) I taught myself that as long as I don't speak to anybody and don't do anything without being asked to, I wouldn't get yelled at. This childhood lead to me developing social anxiety, PTSD and depression. I eventually got rid of my depression at around age 14, but the PTSD and social anxiety still stick with me to this day. I'm afraid that every person I meet has the possibility of being a terrible person like my father, so I distance myself from strangers and I avoid as much conversation as possible with people I don't know/trust.
I visited my mother every other weekend, and every time I went there, I felt like I was in heaven. Nobody that yells at me. Nobody that blames me. Nobody that makes fun of me. She's always super caring. She didn't gain custody of me because of her drinking and gambling issues, which she got rid of after a bunch of therapy just so she could get custody of me, which she has now had for about 3 years. I don't visit my father at all anymore.
I was diagnosed around the age of 13 with a light case of autism. (I'm not sure if we used levels in my country) I didn't think much of it at the time because I didn't feel different from others in any way. I was just struggling with depression, which I also got diagnosed with a lot earlier than autism, so I didn't care about my autism. My mom suggested that I should get diagnosed, as I was showing signs of autism which, again, I didn't notice. My dad said that it was ridiculous. "My child could never have autism. She's perfectly normal, as I raised her", he would say.
When I moved in with my mother, I could express myself more and be myself. What used to be my extroverted, social self was ruined by social anxiety and PTSD, and I now am quiet unless I'm talked to or asked about my special interests. Now that I'm allowed to express myself, I notice that I'm extremely obsessed with what I'm passionate about, and I can get really good at hobbies that I enjoy, such as drumming and gaming. Recently, I was ranting to my half-brother for half an hour in the car about a video game I really liked when he asked me one question about it.
I notice that I adopted my father's behavior of sitting in my room all day, not coming out unless it's for school or dinner. I'd eat breakfast, lunch and snacks in my room. I was allowed to close my door. My room was like a safe haven that I could go to whenever I please to de-stress.
When I was around 15 years old, I started having worse and worse sensory issues. Sensitivity to light and sound are mainly what I'm worried about. The sound of people murmuring and chatting around me in big groups, the light of the lamp in the classrooms, the feeling of my lenses in my eyes. I never had these problems at a younger age, how come I only have them now? Could my autism have grown/developed because of my trauma? I've tried looking up "Causes of autism", "Can mental trauma cause autism?", etc etc. The only things I could find were how women who were abused had an increased chance of giving birth to children with autism, how PTSD could be confused for autism or the other way around and other things that didn't answer my question. So I turn to reddit.

I've been laid off from my job and will be receiving a severance package. Consireding I'd have to pay taxes next year on that gross income, I'll be setting aside about 40-50% of that money
Any suggestions on how to place that money until tax season to make the most of it or any tips to pay less taxes ?

It’s only been 3 days, I know it will get easier but right now… we are heartbroken. I’ve never seen my husband cry until now.
My sweet 5 year old boy (who we got shortly after getting married) got really sick, really fast. He wasn’t eating well and then at all. We took him to the vet, X-rays didn’t show anything, lab work was unremarkable except some mild dehydration. We get sent home with some meds for his acid reflux (which he had for 2 years at this point), a few days later an antibiotic and an appetite stimulant. Almost no improvement. Vet gives more meds. No improvement. We take him to the ER vet. They do an ultrasound. The vet comes in and tells us it’s either an incredibly difficult to treat fungus or cancer. We wait on the lab findings. The labs are highly suspicious of an incredibly rare fungus that has had no successful treatment in dogs. We can either do surgery for more samples (which the vet did not recommend), a colonoscopy for possible samples, or humane euthanasia. Spoke with our primary vet who talked about quality of life and how high of a chance treatment won’t work.
We are temporarily set up for colonoscopy and then Sunday happens. At this point it has been 3 weeks of almost no food. We are shoving pils down his throat morning and night. He’s on a steroid so he should be thirsty…. Except he’s not drinking now. He keeps going to the door to go outside, coming in, and immediately turning around to go back out. In our hearts we knew this was it. We took him back to the ER. Discussed options (new vet this time). New vet is very honest. Pup will need a feeding tube for months, not weeks, because of how extensive the fungus is. Toddler will have to be separated from pup to avoid accidental tube removal. There is an underlying cause to pup getting this infection - he had to be in immunocompromised to even get it in the first place. The prognosis is so guarded they can’t even give me a possible survival percentage rate.
Our sweet baby is miserable. Neither one of us want this life for him. He doesn’t want to play. He just lays there, slowly starving to death, being attacked by this stupid fungus. We elected to let him take his final sleep. We couldn’t bear to watch him continue to suffer for another year (that’s at minimum how long the meds would take - if they even worked) or longer just for this not to work. If the meds didn’t get it all it would come back. If his immune system was still compromised, he could pick it up from wherever he got it from again (we usually don’t take him too far out of the house). Or have my toddler, who doesn’t understand what’s going on, actually understand in a year.
I’m just sad. I keep crying. My husband cries. I miss our boy. I walk out in the living room and he’s not curled up on the couch. We go to bed and he’s not trying to shove in between us when the kiddo isn’t there. The toddler calls for him and we have to tell him that “puppy had to go. He’s playing with his sister now” because our other husky had a congenital kidney disease that we didn’t know about and she died before she turned a year old. I hate this. My heart is broken. I know we did what was best for him and us in the long run but I also feel guilty. Like I should have tried harder. I should have known something was wrong sooner.
If you made it this far, thanks for letting me pour my heart out. I know he’s not suffering anymore but part of me wanted to be selfish and keep him around for another year… but that wouldn’t have been a good life for him. My medical brain reminds me quality of life is more important than anything else.

The PC was working just fine yesterday evening. As usual, I set it to sleep, and when I came back this morning, it had powered off, and trying to turn it back on didn't work. I checked and there was no light on the motherboard which was odd.
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
I tested the power outlet supplying the PSU, which works fine.
I reset the RAM sticks, replaced the CMOS battery just in case, and made sure that the connections to the motherboard from the PSU were still in place.
Despite all that, the motherboard light continues to stay dead and I can't figure out the point of failure otherwise.

Duty Support/Trust is great, especially when you are trying to queue for a duty on a low pop server or during non-prime time hours, but wouldn't it be better if you could combine both worlds?
I think an enhanced Duty Finder that does this would be great. It would first try to fill in the required roles using players. Then after a predetermined period of time (e.g. 10 min?), it would fill in the remaining players using NPCs.
I understand that not all people want to play with NPCs, so it could be a flag that you can turn off/on in Duty Finder to allow matching with NPCs.

In the meeting last night, I talked about how my implementation was buggy and caused the questing site to TLE even though I received a solid amount of points.
I fixed my implementation today according to Dylan's idea for implementing the Queue as a constantly circulating sub-array of the _data vector, and it worked with flying colors. It turns out that the erase() method of a vector does indeed reduce the size of the vector, and this is certainly an unintended effect.
If anyone would like to discuss how I did this in-depth, let me know and I'll try to join the Friday meeting.
